Wow!! Lol, only you could have spotted that! Obviously Georgia State didn't follow up either.
Espn360 how do you explain this?

That bio is off as hell. Fantasy: Reality: So we're going to hire a guy that falsifies his bio? Brilliant! Wouldn't be the first time...

They'll probably blame it on the SID.
However, it is ultimately the coach's responsibility to make sure everything published in their bio in factually correct.
If Pugh was in fact a final candidate, this could be a deal killer.

It never ends well when friends or family members of coaches come on this site.

Well Pugh missed his best chance in my opinion. Savannah State just hired Steve Davenport. He was head coach at my high school alma mater for a few years, and he's a dam good coach.
In a twist of irony, Elon's interviewing Steve Shankweiler, who was also head coach at my high school alma mater at one point, winning our only state championship.
Our current o-line coach attended my high school alma mater. Cradle of coaches?
In any event, we sure are moving slow. This ain't spades, but the old saying "think long, think wrong" comes to mind.
Good luck to Mr. Pugh, whether he comes to Ayantee, stays at GaState, or takes another position.

Has Martin released a top 5 list or a list of coaches he's contacted or interested in? (*Ask question I already know the answer to*). So much for transparency. WyattBone, here we come..

I'm afraid that time will prove me right. I figured that Small would win at first and lose consistently thereafter, Fobbs would be a total bust, and Lee would have his growing pains. I predict that if we do hire Pugh, he will lose consistently until he resigns. I predict that he will be promised a number of improvements in the athletic dept. that will never see the light of day, just as his predecessors were.
I don't know the guy, but I already feel very sorry for him.

I can think of a more educated way to handle this situation
