The UAB game WAS NOT an aberration. This is the worst QB play I’ve ever seen. No exaggeration. If our QB doesn’t improve….we ain’t gonna win one game. The Norfolk game is no longer a gimme game.
I’m sure Coach Brown will talk so eloquently on Monday at the press conference…..if he ain’t talking about recruiting a legit QB, I ain’t tryna hear anything he has to say. You can’t win with QB play this anemic….high school, college, NFL, pop Warner….no QB equals no wins.

When your offense goes from 200 ypg passing the previous season to 36 ypg passing this season perhaps it points to deeper issues? Clearly our guys are struggling to pick up Coach Youngs offense.

That could be it . But for me it's the athletes themselves like throwing a bullet to a guy 10 yards away ,like not setting your feet when you throw . Somethings a QB should know . Personally I don't think it's the system but it damn sure looks like it's the athletes especially at QB . Also why didn't Hooker get any run ? I can see holding White not to use up his 3 other games ,but Hooker should have been given a shot ? Please somebody as him why Hooker didn't play . |

I thought we needed a grad transfer for this year. We had time to get one. It's not that easy to get the right athletes out of the portal as you think and the same holds true for Graduate Transfers. |

Yeager was a 2 star qb in high school.
Brickhandler was a 3 star qb.
Meanwhile..... nccu qb Davius Richard was a zero star qb with not a lot of D1 offers. He has been coached up to become one of the best qb's in FCS.
My point? It ain't the qb's because they are playing as they've been taught or not taught.
Last season we finished 7-4 and everyone screamed for a change in the coaching staff. Well folks, we got what we asked for and this is what change looks like at the moment.

Nah I'm not pointing a finger at the coaching staff just because we lost to two experienced and talented teams. Don't be a prisoner of the moment. QB play was piss poor, yes, but the coaching staff drew up the plays but when your QB either holds the ball too long, throws a 95 mph fastball 5 yds away, and all we can do is run the ball your hands are a little tied as a coach. Coach brown asked yall to be patient, but I knew most wouldn't hang on half a season... |

The question I have is where is Hooker and why hasn't he played ? He played lot last season .
Not saying that he is the answer but give the kid a shot OC . You have played 3 qb's , with one 3 games away from losing his RS . Give Hooker his shot because, he can not be as bad as the first 3 you put on the field and God forbid if he is 😆

The same coaching staff chose not to start their 5 yr senior QB until the 3 rd game. The same coaching staff performed poor roster management…we graduated 5 DL last year with no plan for the future. 2 of 5 DL they signed in 2022 didn’t make it through the first semester of college. 0 of 3 DL from class of 2021 made it to spring semester of 2022. |

This is a mess. I have a feeling we might lose some more players to the portal. I know the portal works both ways but I have only seen it work one way at A&T. Can this staff hold on to the next level kids? I hope so. It is hard to play for a team that wins 1 game all season.
