You can stop telling others to be patient. Loud people have a purpose. They make noise, they motivate. They turn heads. Sitting back and being patient is what got us one of the longest losing streaks in history. Seriously though, if you want to shout and yell at the coaches/administration for the outcomes this early in the season its kind of pointless. If this was year 2 or 3 for Brown and the staff, yea, I would be right there with you. We have a whole new regime, young team, lost majority of our starting lineups to graduation and the portal, and faced two tough opponents. No need to raise the blood pressure just yet. No one is actually shouting and yelling. People are voicing REAL football concerns. I saw (regardless of how long they been here and what they inherited) a terrible terrible offense for 2 games. We have 2 very good RBs that basically saved the staff from looking COMPLETELY inept and that was it. Prunty is that dude on defense.

My opinion is that we as fans do need to show a little patience to understand the seriousness of the team's problem. The coaches and players are on high alert to try and fix all problems immediately (game to game). These are 2 different timelines. In college, we can't trade for players, pickup players on waivers or whom were cut as in the NFL. College coaches promote and demote players based on their performances in the games and at practices, along with dealing with injuries, to field the best team. Why are we automatically assuming they are not doing that? Just because the outcome is not what we expected. Maybe the team's talent is not at the level it needs to be right now to win 50% to 75% of our games this year? We know what happened last year at the end of the season, but it is much easier to not consider the totality of the circumstances when truthfully evaluating our team's talent. Other teams were not sitting around not trying to get better while we dealt with our football team problem. In college as well as the NFL, coaches can be fired and hired at anytime. Some are trying extremely hard to place most of the problems on the players and avoid the monster in the room that maybe the main issue are the coaches. I don't necessarily mean that the head coach or staff are bad, but maybe they are implementing systems (offense and defense) that currently don't fit well with the type of players we currently have on our roster and are too stubborn to make moderate changes because it hinders the players from learning the system they want the players to run for years to come. If this is true, then players are going to look bad early in the season until they get it, therefore quite a bit of the blame would need to go towards the coaches. The coaches do get a little break in that they had less time than normal to recruit "their" players that fit "their" system. Also, only one spring game to evaluate talent where some players did not suit up due to coach's decision about grades I believe. Last year, Boise State fired their OC and benched their starting QB of two years for a redshirt freshman after going 2-2. After that change, the team won many games and ended up playing in a bowl game. So let's stop being so overly protective of the coaches like they can't be the problem. I am not saying they are, but I am also not excluding them as a possible source of the problem. As with my above comments about the players, we should consider the totality of the circumstances. www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/34657389/day-disheartening-loss-utep-boise-state-fires-offensive-coordinator-tim-ploughIn summary, we fans should be patient and wait 4 to 5 games to get a good idea what is truly wrong with this team (coaching, players, or both) if anything. Boise State went from 2-2 to 9-3 in the regular season, then lost their conference championship game but won their bowl game ending the year at 10-4. Are we that fickle of fans? The coaches and team have some work to do in gaining back their self respect and the respect of the Aggie Nation.

We lost. We've lost before. We'll lose again. I know our team is young with many being lost to the portal. Our staff is new. Our conference is new. I've heard and known all of this....
.....guys, we have amassed 67 yards of passing offense......IN TWO GAMES!!
Not 67 passing yards over 2 minutes....or 2 quarters.......IN TWO ENTIRE GAMES!!
This is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SUBSTANDARD. That is so "so-low-on-the-bell-curve" low that it can't be justified.
How can this staff look at any of us with a straight face and tell us they have done a good job coaching up the offense for the first 2 games of the season.
Young players.....not athletic enough players......losing players to the portal.....DAMN ALL OF THAT!
67 YARDS OF PASSING IN 2 GAMES. That's unacceptable Coach Brown. That's unacceptable Chris Young. Aggie Nation needs to let these dudes know that this kind of God-awful play will not be accepted in year 1, year 2, year 3 and beyond (if they're fortunate enough to be here that long).
There's absolutely no excuse for production this paltry - ZERO.

Ok got it, so to your point if we have dudes in a few areas that were inherited that were balling just imagine what the team will look like when we get a full recruiting cycle. Remember college doesn't have preseason football, unfortunately the coaching staff is having to correct week to week.

I remember when we made Davius Richard look inept as a QB his first 2 seasons as well against us. I'm sure those birds were screaming those same sentiments. He grew with the coaching staff and now look at how solid he became. Let's get real like you say, what QB on this team has amassed more than half a full collegiate season? NONE.

We even got a bye week after Elon. I expect even more adjustments after the bye week. I'm not talking about wins and losses...I'm talking about IMPROVEMENT. This team needs to get better.....the coaching staff needs to get better.

Zach Leslie, gone! Sterling Berkhalter, gone! Warren, IR! Caldwell, IR! Hell I could be wrong but I didn't even see Nicholas Dobson line up.

The other 25% is attributed to the players (wrong routes, dropped passes, missed assignments, errant passes, etc.).
To me, of course, this needs to be corrected by our OC ASAP.

Now you know why they were still holding tryouts….even after the UAB game. Nah. That was to supplement with more players for practice and possibly catching a gem. Not to, necessarily, find another "starting" QB or whatever other position you might be pointing to. And we aren't the 1st ones to do it. Also, maybe you didn't hear Coach B's comments about why they did it.

That comment was make tongue-in-cheek..... By the way, I'm no longer interested in what Coach B SAYS.....I'm interested in what he DOES.

After two displays by two veterans. Why haven't the third veteran been activated to the field ? That is my question . And don't say he's not good enough because if the first two games are indicators of how good we are at quarterback , he can't be any worse 😆
