This Rasheed Wallace thing is getting way to much attention for me "Technically" he's a big name. See what I did there? Well, we are North Carolina Agricultural and TECHNICAL State University. He'd fit right in.

Why would anyone assume going to Elon to be an assistant was a better job if you were already a D1 HC making more money? You already stated in your original post that Coach Anderson took over a 4 win team. Did I really have to say he was fired? By the way, the team was hit heavily with Covid-19 in one or two of those last 3 seasons, but the administration still decided to make a change. I mentioned this in a previous post in this thread that Coach Anderson was hired in May, 2022. This did not give him much time to recruit players, thus one can assume he did a good job working with what he had and the committed recruits signed by the previous coach. Having 2 to 3 losing seasons between a winning season meets my definition of occasional/occasionally. Seldom would mean 1 to 2 losing seasons between a winning season to me. Below is my statement which you questioned my use of the word occasional. "Bottom line is that FDU has mostly been elite in the NEC for years with occasional down years" They haven't been elite. Look at the numbers. www.sports-reference.com/cbb/schools/fairleigh-dickinson/men/I stand corrected. They have not been elite. Since the 2013-14 season, start of previous coach, they look good 1 season and then look bad or ok the next 2 to 3 seasons. They probably will be bad or ok next season. Coach Anderson has moved on to Iona.

Will we have a new HC by the end of March? The NJCAA, D2, and D3 tournaments have concluded with the NIT Championship this Thursday and the NCAA April 3rd.
"Hilton says he hopes to have someone in place by the end of March or early April."

Rumors say we are choosing BJ Mckie from Wake Forest. I hope that rumor is correct; not my first choice but certainly a coach.
