I guess I come from a time that when it came down to A&T vs NCCU it didn't matter what the records were, the crowds were great.

I guess I come from a time that when it came down to A&T vs NCCU it didn't matter what the records were, the crowds were great. ...and I came from a time that we hated NCCU so much we would show up just to kick their butts...never mind the record. When Mo Forte came to A&T as head football coach I told him his first year he had to win two games every year... NCCU and anybody we played for Homecoming. And to be honest with you, those are still the games I want really want to win. Oh, and put WSSU on that list now.

Attendance for A&T vs NCCU is still "good" BUT if we want to maximize it to it's fullest potential and make it GREAT I feel the game would be better served on Labor Day weekend or as close to the start of the season as possible.
As stated earlier UNLESS both or at least one is in contention for the title what we saw at Aggie Stadium last season (18-19k) is probably right around what we'll avg for this game going forward (Just my personal opinion)

when both teams are down like they were last year, we could expect less than a sellout for this rivalry game. i mean, we were just coming off of a 1-10 season which gave us "flashbacks" to that not so long ago 27 game losing streak. and while we were having flashbacks, central was actually in the midst of experiencing dayum near a 1-10 season themselves. between the both of us, that's not a good recipe for an aggie-eagle sellout.
but broadway now has our program heading in the right direction which should motivate the vast majority of our fans to comeback this year, if we keep playing well. yet on the other hand, central's program is in big trouble because of frazier's legal issues. if they don't bounce back from that, it could be an extended amount of time before central gets their act together again...
