So in 2013 , Schools will be able to play 12 games. Who do you think A&T should schedule?

I don't think that the NCAA will let you play a Money/guarantee game out side of the sub-Division as long as your under their APR THum??

As long as the APR problem is still around, no guarantee games are allowed against FBS teams. With that being the case, I would like to see App State, Furman, Georgia State or a very beatable Western Carolina on the 2013 schedule. (I think that UNCC has already completed their schedule.)

I agree - unfortuanely no FBS team until we raise the APR. True we got thumped by Wake but that was years ago _ most solid FCS teams can play a respectable game against a FBS opponent. SC State plays at leat one of these games every year and the scores are repestible.
Problem is we are not yet a SC States level but we are on the upswing. I think this year will give us a clear indication as to whether we are taking small steps, progessing nicely, or makes moves by leaps and bounds.

so are we staring the season a week earlier or something?
I wouldn't mind a guarantee game but of course the APR situation we are in prevents that...if we can get the WSSU game back with favorable terms, i would be for it

No FBS team will play us at this point! And if they did want to play A&T, I don't think the NCAA will allow it any way!! Must Schedules are done 2 too 3 years in advance if they are done right in most cases. The MEAC would have to approve the teams and then it is sent too the NCAA for their approval . Their are a number of games that A&T can turn a profit off of, Don't count out the SIAC / CIAA . We just have to pick the teams wisely>.

Keep VUL on the schedule. Keep a sure fire win on the schedule especially when it isn't guaranteed that our APR issues will be behind us in 2013.
I would also want us to try to keep 5-6 home games as well as playing 1-2 "quality" FCS games.
Lastly, if we are clear of any APR issues, we should absolutely go after a BCS or FBS beatdown game. We can absolutely use that cash. We would be an attractive option in their eyes however, we should not take a game for less than $500,000. We can make that by playing two cupcakes at Aggie Stadium easily.

Western will be a lot better and soon. Half of App States staff went there are the scandal involving coach moore son
