Sorry if I'm ruffling any feathers, but I just have a problem with our football announcers on 90.1. They talk when plays are actually occurring. They constantly are talking about the wrong players. They give the incorrect lines of scrimmage for particular plays.... If this was a one-time thing, I'd let it pass. But this has been going on for a while. I won't specify what a "while" is, but it's not new. The broadcast today was particularly bad. It was extremely frustrating trying to understand what was going on from play to play. I know the broadcast team has been around for years - but if they don't do better than this, they need to be replaced. I'm usually at the games, but couldn't make the one today in Norfolk. Broadcasters are supposed to be our eyes and ears at the game. After the game today - I'm blind and deaf...... They need to do better. Again, if I'm upsetting some folks with this thread - my apologies. But surely I cannot be the only one frustrated after the broadcast today. It was very disjointed, to say the least

NSU and HU had the same problems. You get what you pay for... On another note, I was watching the NSU internet feed and you could over hear the NSU coaches cursing all game long. The F-word was use all game long. I had to hold my breath on every play because they would have the wrong camera angle and you would miss the play.

My wife heard me listening to the game today. Her comment was, "That sounds like Fred Sanford, Bubba, and Grady calling a football game." It is a very hard broadcast to listen to. Don't mean to sound negative, but it is what it is.

I actually thought this weeks broadcast was a little better than normal. Wasn't there someone new in the booth? I also heard the end of the NSU broadcast and they were apologizing to their audience.

It's very painful to listen to the broadcast. I watched the Howard game on their webcast, and had the radio on for a short while at the same time. There was a total disconnection between what they were saying and what was happening on the field. They seem like wonderful guys , the kind you would love to go fishing with but, not the right guys for a radio broadcast.

It was very disjointed, to say the least Thank God someone else in Aggieland is complaining about our radio football announcers. Hey these guys have been bad for decades. I've been complaining about them for years. But I figured that they were not paid a salary to announce the game so no one cared how bad they were. I assumed they were not paid because no one in their right minds would pay announcers that were that bad. Your wife called them "Fred Sanford", my friends in the stands call them "Amos and Andy." We have got to get some professional announcers that have actual sport radio announcer skills. Or at the very least, get somebody that can communicate on the radio.

I'm not asking for James Earl Jones or Morgan Freeman to announce the games either. Just call the action, know the line of scrimmage and the person who actually has the ball in his hands. They struggle to even give you the basics......

After listening to the TERRIBLE announcer that Howard had, I said I would not complain about our announcers again. Although it's going to be hard hard to do, I'm gonna try and keep that commitment.

Just because someone else has an awful radio announcer crew is no reason to accept our announcers. I listen to the Howard announcers and except for their screaming like school girls when Howard made a big play, they were much better than the A&T Amos and Andy show. To be honest with you, I am sad that they represent my beloved A&T. We can do better. God knows we can't do any worst.

Considering how we can't get any worse with the announcers, why don't they allow students who want to do that after graduation get some practice in the field they're going to be in? Like I said it can't get any worse
