I have read plenty of negative talk about our radio announcers, but listening to S.C. State radio announcers, ya'll are right. Our announcers sound like a funneral. I respect our announcers for many years of dedicated work, but they have to sound exciting like S.C. State announcers. I don't know if anybody has talked to them about improving their work.

Hey we have scored 2 touchdowns and held SCSU to one field gold midway through the second period. Go Aggies

They are a little more informative. Kindle look for the open man. Raper up the sideline. Come on man

It appears to me there may be a quiet transitioning already underway that we may not be aware of with Donald Ware's group eventually replacing Spencer and Mel when they finally do decide to hang it up upon retirement on WNAA just as matter of general respect for their 40 plus years of service to A&T and the community.
Ware's broadcast team is in every city or region around the state this year covering A&T football except in one venue. Guess where? Coincidence? I think not.

I listen to the game on that A&T network with Donald Ware, and they did a really good job. I think they are stationed in the Smithfield/Selma N.C. area. They service mostly eastern N.C..

The station I listened to them on was out of Charlotte with broadcasts on AM stations in Gastonia, Shelby, Hickory and the Statesville area.
