We played two QBs and each played approximately half the game. We need to find a way to split reps like that on a regular basis. We played two because one got injured and couldn't return. Two QB systems work when you have two QB's with two distinctive athletic types that makes a defense decide to make adjustments..i.e Carter and Raynard. This is nothing but a next man up system. The question that should be asked now is who is the next man up ? In case both the starter and his back up go down..this weekend. Putting both at risk is a foolish thing to do when both have similar skills with the exception of one being faster than the other. Carter was a fullback playing quarterback that could also throw as well as he could run, Reynard had the arm but could run . Carter understood the role of a dual threat quarterback and would only run if it was necessary but knew how to manage the short mid routes, Raynard had the Deep ball arm and understood the middle to deep routes..i.e two QB system. Let's Just get through the season and try to keep both healthy. Don't start doing foolish things when things are looking brighter with only two games left. Because if it doesn't work the same ones asking for it are the same ones that will be calling for the OC's head even more 😆 . Yeah. Not a 2 QB system last week. The 2nd came in when the 1st got hurt. As a matter of fact, the 3rd came in after the 2nd got hurt.
