According to reliable sources, Fobbs will officially give up the OC title next season and bring in someone new to try and fix our offense. *insert screams of hallelujah here* What are some names that Fobbs should consider when he hires his new offensive coordinator?

Gerber, Tom Knotts, Steve Shipp....... If one of those people get the OC job the spread offense will be here!!!!!! With the speed we have............. Speedy, Chancelor, Fergurson, Garth (Huge Target if he makes it) We could throw up 35 a game but we need a special teams coach to do that....... We need to give Fobbs no excuses, please hire a special teams coach too!!! !!!

Steve Shipp would be an interesting hire, plus Fobbs would probably be able to get him for cheap. That might allow him to hire a real special teams coach too.

i hate to post this because i suggested we look into those coordinators buddy pugh let go... now the off. cord. is at grambling with broadway... but here it goes.... has anyone thought about the cords. hampton lost... taylor fired one & they were avg. 40pts a gm.... & beatty left in the spring & hampton struggled this season...
beatty is a young innovative coach who knows the qb position... his high school teams were high octane & he didn't skipp a beat at hampton... i would go after him... plus he's head coaching material...

Beatty is at Northern Illinois as the Rb coach and the other off cord that was at Hampton was Fred Kaiss. Kaiss spent five seasons, 2001 to 2006, at Hampton University is now at Tenn St. 1. Tom Knotts 2. Steve Shipp 3. Antonio King -off cord Hillside High 4. Melvin Spears 5. Billy Joe or Mark Orlando gojagsports.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/orlando_mark01.html

(Steve Shipp would be an interesting hire,)
He played with Spurrier at Florida..... Knotts coached Shipp at West Charlotte when they won the state in 1996..... Ramondo North played on that team too but I would try to get both of them..... Knotts OC and Shipp Special Teams, I say Shipp cause he's played for Spurrier, and he's been a productive coach.... He's won two rings with Knotts at Indy..... He went to WC cause he wanted to do his own thang...... Bottom line Knotts and Shipp know how to win football games!!!!?!?!?!?!!!!

That would be something. Bill Hayes goes to FAMU and Billy Joe come to A&T.

Now that Knotts has lost the streak it's time to go after him. I think he's ready for a change.

Steve Shipp, you got to be kidding me!
You guys talk about going after a proven head coach, how in the hell can you include Steve Shipp in the mix?
