Kenny Phillips is a crazy name.
I'd much rather have Coach Hester from Catawba or Coach Reich from Wingate. Coach Hester and Catawba is 4-0 against Kenny Phillips. Catawba was blowing out FSU's best teams under Phillips. Coach Hester has Greensboro roots. He recruits NC heavily. He is like 19-1 against HBCUs, including the aforementioned 4-0 against FSU.

We need a kicker that can kick the ball past the 30 yard line on kick-offs. The offense is still horrible. This is mostly the line's fault. Overall though, they played hard. We don't have to worry about Rags going 4-0 and earning an opportunity to be permanent coach.

I'm all for showing loyalty to Ferguson, but at worst they should be splitting carries 50-50. Right now Tomlin is the better back and it's not even close.

I understand that Fobbs will NOT be the coach next season. However, it would make me feel better if they would just go ahead and fire him now. I would at least feel that the administration is paying attention to its supporters.

Yeah, he was the standout in the Spring Game too. But he's not a Senior and Dion McNair is. I'm tired of our coaches making personnel decisons like we're the Teamster's Union. Seniority doesn't mean everything. Why haven't we seen more of him before now? |

Coastal is not a good team. We're even worser [sic]. The offensive line, quarterback and offensive coaches share in the blame for this loss. Coach Fobbs really carries himself like he doesn't even care anymore. We'll beat Central and maybe another team or so, but that's about it.
Firing another coach will not accomplish anything if we keep making bad hires. I'm interested to see who Wheeler brings in next.
