I listened to the radio broadcast.
Even the strongest Fobb supporters can't answer that question.

Fobbs should have went for 2 instead of kickin the freakin extra point. Hes a dumb a$$. Fire his a$$ NOW!!!!! What did they have to lose by goin for 2!?! If you dont get the 2 you are losing. You kick the extra point you are losing. If you get the 2 you are WINNING!!! Its not rocket science Fobbs!!!!!! And if we didnt get the 2 and lost the game 26-28 then atleast we would all know that he actually tried to win the game.
And the radio broadcast suck. Idk what in the hell those guys be talkin about sometimes.

Now I know Fobbs didn't kick the extra point without trying to tie the game and send it into overtime. He's an idiot! I was at one point trying to be on his side, but after that move, that shows that he doesn't know what he's doing. I'm done with Fobbs!

I remember when I was in first grade my teacher stood in front of the class and explained to everyone that 2 > 1. She even gave a quick analogy and said that if we needed two of something, one would not suffice. Granted, it took some of the kids a while to grasp this unique concept but by the end of the school day I think we all had a pretty firm handle on it.
Eventually, I forgot that teacher's name but to this day, I always take time to reflect on her infinite wisdom.

And BTW, IF his offensive assistants just stood around and let him make that decision, their dumb azzes should questioned too!

What we witnessed was unforgiveable. Something has to be done.

It didn't bother me. We had the majority of the fourth quarter left and Central's starting qb was out. I figured we'd get the ball back several more times and have plenty of opportunities to score without needing to at that point.
If you notice, we didn't give up an offensive score after the half. The problem was they scored on the fumble return. Had they not scored we would have won handily.
In reading the reasoning you guys have, I can't help but agree with you because it makes more sense. But for the reasons above I agreed with his decision.

I agree the 2 point play would never had been a factor if that fumble had not occurred and the big screen play by central on third and forever. We would have gotten the ball in good field position with plenty of time on the clock to score a TD or a field goal.
I must commend the overall kicking game, i.e kickoff, punting, extra points and field goal. A big turn around.

But for the reasons above I agreed with his decision. There's no way to agree with the decision, ever. It's a bad football decision no matter what. 1) If you go for two and make it the game is tied. That changes the entire coaching stategy on both sides and changes the confidence level of our team. 2) If you go for two and don't make it you are still only behind by two. 3) If you kick the extra point you are behind by one. 4) If you miss the extra point you are behind by two. If all four cases, a field goal wins. You could win in scenario #3 with a safety but that is much less probable.
