According to some of my sources close to the department, Fobbs is supposed to be asked to resign and then placed into another department to finish out his contract.
The OC will be the interm Head Coach for the time being.

My first thought was "I'll believe this when I see it" but after thinking about it, maybe his wife's illness could cause him to step down.
Do you think McKenzie can teach the Offensive Line how to block so our QBs will have time to pick out a receiver down field?

Odums has head coaching experience too, at Clark Atlanta. He was interim and didn't do too hot. As a head coach McKenzie set a record for consecutive losses by a meac team that was broken by Fobbs. Winning loves company.

From what I am being told, McKenzie is just as much part of the problem as Foobs.

It's true. I heard this from a couple of players. This could turn out to be really bad. Some players are talkin about transfering. I just hope the team doesn't stop playing or we could see some really bad blowouts. I wanted him to be fired...but after the season was over.

The guy goes through 2 winless seasons and after another confirmation of his sorryness, we ask him to leave now? ?? More idiotic A&T decission making.

IMO, the sooner the better, this season is a failure, staying only makes it worst for everybody. What is the point of continuing a relationship that we no longer need (if we can afford to and rumor has it that money has been raised). Departure now and all parties can get on with their process, players that want to transfer can get on with it, coaches that feel they will not be around, can get on with that job hunt, A&T can get on with the hunt for a new coach, the fans will not have Coach Fobbs to bash and can get on to looking forward to next year, and Coach Fobb gets paid (unfortunately) and get on with his next adventure, to me it’s win-win (and peace of mind) for every body. The sooner the better.

Good points. Especially if the money has been raised. Actually, if the money has already been raised, I'm doing a total 180 on my opinion. Only thing is........I just hope they don't rush the next hire. I mean, this needs to be a careful process football wise as well as budget wise. We haven't been good with that.

That's why we need separation as soon as possible. That way we can begin our process for replacement right away without any hindrance and with a reasonable margin of time. In fact we can start the evaluation of prospective candidates right now, have a short list by seasons end, complete the interview process by mid December, and have a new Coach by January.
