Oldeschool, I feel your pain. We all feel it. And we come on this site every day hoping to find some answers or at least some hope. But I think we will just have to be patient and hope things will turn around. I'm convenced that the A&T administration is aware of the situation and is trying to figure out how to fix the problem. Hell, this time last year we were agonizing about the A&T football team. Now we are not MEAC Champions yet but we are all optomistic that we are much better than we were. Just remember, the football team was in a much worst situation than the basketball team. And I'm convenced that the mens basketball program will be fixed too. So keep supporting the A&T athletics and as Jessie said..."Keep hope alive!"

No one singled out any players in particular. I stated the minutes played versus rebounds meaning.... There was not much rebounding going on because players do not go inside. The center or power forward position has nothing to do with it. Rebounding is rebounding..... A duck is a duck. One player on SSU team had 10 rebounds and he was a GUARD.... No can we still stick to the facts of lackluster rebounding

the reason 1200 folks is sad to me is because you always want to leave behind for those to follow, a better a&t than you had. kinda like how your parents want a better life for their kids than they had. in many ways, today's a&t students do have a lot of things better than we had back in my day. new classroom buildings, new dorms, a brand new fitness center, etc. but we're also suppose to leave "positive" traditions behind as a part of a&t's legacy. its just sad to me that today's aggie students really have no concept of what basketball games in corbett use to be like. 1200 people at a basketball game was "unheard of" back in the day. basketball games use to be an "event" at corbett. i guess there's more distractions nowadays with the internet and iphones and stuff like that. but 1288 people? i don't care who we played when i was a student, we "never" had as few as 1200 folk at the game. ever notice how we haven't had a home game on espnu in a couple of years? ever wonder why not? corbett use to be one of espn's favorite meac arenas. not anymore. now its coppin state. i guess because of their new arena. corbett use to be their favorite, not because of our arena, but because of our crowds. i'm not pointing the finger at any one person for this. collectively, as an institution, we've allowed this to happen and its a dayum shame. it probably means more to me than most others because sports is a dominate part of my life. probably don't mean much to other folk. but to me, its sad that we've allowed what was an a&t "strength" to become an a&t "weakness". it didn't have to be this way... And how many people are at the Coppin State game? Espn picks the game they want , has nothing to do with the MEAC at all.
