I cannot believe your prediction after all the hoopla about how this team is soooooo much better than last year's. Let's face it, we beat them by 6 points last year and you are predicting a 4 point lost this year. What gives?

Last year I would pick A&T to win and they would lose so I am going with that same trend. Let remember the Rams beat Hampton and Del State on the road last year.

I will make one other prediction. A QB from one of these two teams will be knocked out of the game.

not to discount their wins against hampton and dsu, but both teams were in disarray during the latter part of last season. both dsu and hampton were in the midst of a 3 and 4 game losing streak, respectively.

winston played hampton a week after hampton had just been "thrashed" on national tv 35-13 by scsu. hampton was never the same after that. they went on to lose 4 games in a row! winston beat them by 5 points.

same goes for dsu. they were in the dumps too. having loss 5 of their previous 7 games and the last 3 in a row before playing winston. winston beat them by 1 point.

so while it is noteworthy that winston beat hampton and dsu on the road (neither team draws large crowds at home), both hampton and dsu were playing their worse ball at the time. i mean, come on. winston also loss to savannah state at home! so i ain't scurd...

I cannot believe your prediction after all the hoopla about how this team is soooooo much better than last year's. Let's face it, we beat them by 6 points last year and you are predicting a 4 point lost this year. What gives?

I base my prediction on the fact that this program has won 9 games in 5 years, the fact that we have a bunch of unproven newcomers at key positions, the fact that Fears has not yet played against anybody wearing a different colored helmet since last year, and the fact that WSSU played some great football towards the end of 2008.

Add in the fact that we will be playing on the road in a hostile environment and I can see us coming away with a loss.

Of course, I hope I am terribly wrong.
