Yeah the days of the legend, Ole Curtis "Wide Legs" Hunter, appear to back upon us.
With the seniors leaving, coupled with a coaching staff that's obviously a fraud, it's a wonder if we're gonna win any games next year. I mean, Eaves, has shown us that he can pull some cupcakes out of his Maximus (S. Va, Houston Baptist), but unless we schedule Hairston Elementary or the school of the blind, who can we beat?
Keep in mind that Coleman is the only player with experience that's returning and I've yet to see him create a shot on his own. The super freshman that so many of you all seem to love have to get used to a coach that teaches an inefficent offense and who is emotionally unstable.
What do you all think?

Ed Jones will be back. I think he's a pretty decent player.

Blah, blah, blah. So the six game win streak earlier this season was a fraud? But 0-22 is cool. The seniors haven't brought their "A game" every night. Let's see how the new signees, along with Robert Johnson, who's also done pretty well, do. I think Eaves has at least provided us with some stability. Although the sheeet about "wide legs" is funny.

Just so amazing how you all bash Coach Eaves. Yet he played college and pro basketball. Also the guy won a national championship. I bet none of you played college basketball. I don't think anybody on here could coach a college basketball team and recruit players. No matter what he does you all will never be happy. That is so sad.

If he can't get seniors motivated, what makes you think he can guide newbies? Furthermore, who knows what he thinks about Robert? He left him home for one of the road trips this year. What stability are you talking about? ? I've been looking for that stability all year.

I don't think anybody on here could coach a college basketball team and recruit players. No matter what he does you all will never be happy. That is so sad. Doug Williams was an All-American quarterback at Grambling. He played great ball with Tampa Bay and even better with the Redskins. He won a superbowl and was named the MVP. He was a pretty decent college football coach at his alma mater. YET HE MADE THE WORST RECOMMENDATION THAT A&T'S ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT HAS EVER TAKEN...and Aggie football hasn't been the same since. Just because an individual has had a stellar career outside from what they have done at A&T does not place them beyond reproach or criticism. In fact, it is a rather weak argument. No need to catch feelings or get emotional about a group of alumni making observations about their favorite sports teams. If you want to roll folks credentials out and celebrate them for what they have done in other phases of their careers, but then not hold them accountable for what they do as Aggies, then that is highly questionable and irrational. The bottom line for me has been and will always be, how are your past experiences helping or hurting Aggie athletics. I think we all know the answer to that with Doug Williams and Fobbs. I think the jury is still out on Eaves but as I have stated before in the private forum....I am not impressed by what I have seen and now that this team will be depleted and the so called experienced players will be gone next year, I tend to believe that author of this post may sadly be correct.

Do you have any idea of how many people played college and pro basketball? Are all of them qualified to coach? Exactly. What has been good about Eaves career at A&T? He hasn't won anything. He hasn't even come close to winning anything. The program is in no better shape than when Hunt left. Yeah, I said it. If you go back and look, Hunt had one bad season. Eaves got a contract extension after averaging like six wins a season. Go figure.

If Hunter straightened his legs, he'd be as tall as Ralph Sampson.
Eaves has made steady improvement practically each season he's been coach. Hunter steadily declined the program each season he was coach. IMHO, we gotta look at the breadth of Eaves's seasons at A&T. Again, he's brought some stability to the program. Remember when we had like three coaches in eight years.

While I don't think the team or the coach are working up to their full potential, we ain't 1-27 or even close. Even with the padded schedule we're hovering around .500. I'm not happy with .500, but it doesn't compare with .034.

He's improving, which is all I can ask right now. He could make a tournament run and shut all us up. I doubt it, but its possible.

How does Hunt's overall percentage compare to Eaves'? I don't have access to that info.

Everything posted makes for interesting reading but "what has he done for me lately" and where is the program headed?
