Listen, I know I may rub some of you the wrong way and I really don't mean to. But the fact of the matter is that many of you are willing to put up with a mediocre product. You want to have "Aggie Pride" in something mediocre. I recognize that Eaves pulled us out of a hole that Curtis "Georgio Armani" Hunter put us in. All I'm saying is that he obviously isn't going to be the guy to get us to the next level unless, as another post said, it is over time and he changes his ways. It isn't that hard in the MEAC. Bozeman (Morgan St) came to Corbett with like 6-7 players last year and got crushed. IN 1 YEAR, he came back and gave us the worst beating at home that we've had in 5. It can be done with basketball competence. Is it O.K. to just want more or should I be happy that we can beat the trash of the league? I guess I should thank Fobbs for that mentality. lol Why can't he get us to the next level? When was the last time we had recuits committed this early? I do have problems with so of his in game coaching decisions but overall he is doing wonders for the program. Bozeman is a proven winner from a major d1 school who got caught up with the NCAA. Eaves can coach I just don't think he knows exactly what he wants Aggie Basketball to be just yet. OK, maybe I'm missing something. I know some of you are super-duper insiders so please tell me what "wonders" Eaves is doing for the program. No he's not Curtis "My hair is naturally curly" Hunter, but since when did he become Dean Smith? Let me repeat this for you. We are 317th out of 328 schools in turnovers with a senior-laden team!!! What's so "wonder"ful about that?

I think it is funny that the ones who are quick to criticize Eaves, are solidly behind Fobbs whose resources increases every year and is looking for his first win going into his third year. aggiejazz...ONE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE OTHER!

Eaves isn't perfect, but he's good. We are competitive. We come to Corbett now expecting to win. He's earned grace from us.
Notwithstanding all of that he is still learning on the job. Don't even get me started on his assistant coaches. We'll be o.k. Give it time. Eaves and Fobbs are two different people. Don't let Fobbs' mess color our perception of the basketball program.

Eaves has been playing with the house's money since he got here. Everyone knew the program was at rock bottom when he arrived so no one cared much when he only averaged about 2 wins for the the first couple of years. The Dawg Pound said F it, we'll just party amongst ourselves and wait for someone to foul out. However, I have been criticial of his coachign skills since the beginning. I saw back then when he could not diagram plays to get Booker open shots late in the game. That showed me that he was lacking in X and Os. Booker would be killing opposing teams in the first half and then always fade away down the stretch. We lost a lot of games in those first couple of years simply because of the way Eaves coached in crunch time. if everybody knew the program was at rock bottom why hasn't anyone done anything about it... ? eaves is another coach a&t is blessed to have... a coach like many others who has worked with little & gotten positive results... a&t didn't appreciate corbett & it has taken basketball all these yrs to get back in the hunt for a meac title... i ask you... where is the fraud... if you want to talk about fraud... how about a coach who is the highest paid coach in the history of the school... & can't win a game... not one #%@ %$#&* game... joe taylor... one of the best coaches around had to leave hampton & go to famu to make more money than fobbs...!!!!! now has been given an extra 350K... & a dummy down schedule... when we have coaches here who have built & turned their programs around with no help from administration.... & still get no help from administration....!!!!! .... & you cry fraud against eaves...that's funny... i know where the fraud is... will fobbs play a big east school... ?... can fobbs beat a big east school... ?

No one is comparing Eaves to Fobbs. Fobbs' and Hunter's failures as coaches has Eaves getting away with extra average coaching abilities. That is all I'm trying to say. If you like watching turnover after turnover after turnover, then hey, Eaves is your guy. But I guess some of you are right, because Hunter tanked the program before Eaves, and because Fobbs' has the whole campus smelling like a meat-packing plant, I guess we should be happy with what we have...even if deep down inside, you know this is probably as good as its gonna get. Remember, this is his "experienced" team. I bet he already has a pass from some of you for next year.
I give in. I accept mediocrity.

I don't. My lord and savior Patricia Cage-Bibbs has shown me the light. A&T does not have to stand for awful and terrible.

I don't have a problem with Eaves. I like him. He has a good class coming in and decent players returning for next season. We''ll do fine down the stretch and in the tounament no one gets a pass. Hampton, Morgan, and maybe Norfolk just have better players right now. The coaching is about the same everywhere you go.
That's it in a nutshell.

No one is happy with the mistakes that are made, however find me someone who is better. You hate Fobbs, your patience with Eaves is slipping and whats next Coach Bibbs, Spaceman. Why not find solutions to problems and quit complaining. Maybe if Swinton was here we would be ok. Btw, where is he
