Spring game was announced on February 17th on this site. Not placing a call or sending an email to the band asking for their participation is an oversight on who ever planned this. That's where your anger should be placed. And I'm pretty sure that's the same reason the cheerleaders weren't there, or the ROTC , or the LiveWires or Concession workers or security. But again to try and paint this like the band is abandoning athletics ( the football team) is asinine. Money was brought up because our program was compared to NC State. That's where money conversation came from. Sir...no anger at all. Get out your feelings, the cheerleaders did attend the Big South championship game at Gardner-Webb so, it has to be apples to apples, sir. I love the band as well, but I will not ignore where there can be improvements. You can't walk around with a "My crap doesn't smell" attitude and not expect to get pushback sometimes. It doesn't work like that but, we can agree to disagree. The cheerleaders were at a competition while the band was in the dorms playing video games Things are not equal " a national competition vs video games"

But remember, support doesn't mean you always agree.
