This is when I get to the point of the conversation where I say “Because I said so” 😀 This is a Hilton/facilities question. Are there two nice sized locker rooms on opposite sides and then two classroom areas? If it were a simple solution, someone would’ve made the adjustments. It's a simple solution and a lot of programs have made those changes and adjustments. Why shouldn't A&T be able to do the same . It's not rocket science come on now 😒

heck, doesn't college teams go thru a "handshake line" at the end of every game? i mean, if the "handshake line" isn't much of a security risk, why are the locker rooms so much more of a security risk?
besides, why can't one team be escorted to the locker room first before the other team is escorted to the locker room? i mean, there's some "common sense" solutions to that problem if indeed it is a problem. before coach jones was let go, he used to have the guys circle the lower level of corbett to dap it up with the fans before going into the locker room. why can't that take place while the visiting team is escorted to the locker room?
i dunno, i just don't see that issue as a problem that can't be solved with "common sense" solutions...

I think Earl, or somebody, talked about the locker room issues with doubleheaders. Granted, I STILL want doubleheaders. That said, if security would be involved in making sure the teams go in the locker rooms separately, I hope they would do better than what happened at FAMU in 2019.

The lack of double headers really hurt the women. *Side note* Coach Jones really did increase attendance with his social media presence. I remember him giving away pizza and some other stuff.

View AttachmentSomething significant happened in season 2017-18 that gave a huge jump in attendance for both the men and women basketball program and has remained since then. Does anyone know what? Was the pizza giveaway for both the men and women because attendance increased for both programs?

Was the pizza giveaway for both the men and women because attendance increased for both programs? Winning and probably a DJ. If that year is the 1st introduction of a DJ replacing the pep band or playing along side the pep band then you just provided the answer that a few posters were asking why the pep band no longer plays at the games. The BB fans prefer the DJ based on the data and your explanation. By the way, winning alone can't be the answer to the attendance jump if others are thinking that, because both the MBB and WBB teams had good records in the 2012-13 season.

Here's an idea that has been thrown around in this board before... I would do elementary with a guardian. Having a bunch of unsupervised middle school and high school students is a recipe for disaster.

UF, UT , TT , North Texas and others have had High and Middle School student nights just to name a few. I think it would be a boost for the overall community and County area .

Having a bunch of high school and middle school kids from rival high schools without supervision is a recipe for disaster.

Greensboro kids are on different then kids in Dallas or any other city . Stop assuming things will happen .
