I want to revisit previous discussions regarding the men's and women's teams playing on separate days.
After 1.5 years of this new format do you prefer single games or the double and why?
Personally, I prefer playing on separate days because 4 days a week I can watch Aggie athletics. I prefer watching Aggie athletics over the NBA, MLB, NHL and random NCAA teams.

I wonder how much it costs to mobilize an entire support staff and facility crew on separate game days.

Does it? That is more days on the calendar that you have to perform a separate duty ... instead of just getting it all over with on one day.
Imagine telling your spouse you've got to work late this week on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday .. instead of just on Monday and Thursday.
I would think extra work days would result in more staff burnout.

With a double header on Monday’s they would put in 14 hr days.

From a university stand point you just hire a bigger staff but the overall hours/money kind of stays the same that you are paying out. Women's game need less of everything obviously, but the men's game wont need as many hours dedicated to gameday as a double header. And I dont buy basketball season tickets. Since we separated the 2 how does that work now? Do we sell women's basketball season tickets? Are women's game free to men's season ticket holders? I have no clue.

Season tickets packages include the men's and women's games together. They are about $182 each for all the home games, men & women.
You can not buy season tickets for just men or women; you have to buy both.

I like the double and miss it.
Especially since I come from Concord, NC.
3 trips to AggieLand last week...Friday, Saturday & Sunday.
I think it deters "out of towners" from coming to games they might, if there were doubles.

A telephone call or a quick google would take care of this problem.

And why google when I know the board is full of people that will answer without.....nevermind.

I like the old way of both teams playing on the same day. Seems as though the crowds were larger and the fans were more livelier.

That was a nice crowd at the women's game on Sunday. I was pleasantly surprised this Sunday to see fans for Delaware sitting behind their team... 20 or 30 of them. And I was told that at other games this season, CAA opposing fans showed up. Hell, I don't remember seeing that many Morgan State, Howard or FAMU fans in numbers in the stand when we were in the MEAC. Is this the new norm? I liked seeing them there, especially since they bought tickets! Would have really liked them being there if we had won.

For us heathens that skip church, I can drive up, catch the game, and be home (90 miles) before dark. Now if we have another off shooting game like yesterday, I'll have to attend church service to pray that our lady Aggie's shooting improves.

I voted for double because that was what I was used to. Truth is I would got to the women's game late to get good seats for the men's game. I never went to a woman's game just because...I will watch them on TV however, and enjoy the highlights.
