He mentioned Asst Coaches Rafferty and Daly. I wonder which Coach Daly is it? Ryan or Colin? Gotta be Colin. He played at Temple.

Daly was a grad assistant at Temple last year. A lot of Philly AAU connections. Seems logical.

From - POB’s Eye Catchers from LaMelo Ball Invitational (Day 2, Part 2) by Patrick O'Brien | Jul 2, 2022
2023 Dantae Watson (Team Winston): What a game by this young man. Everyone was talking about Watson’s ability to step up in the bright lights and come through for his team, scoring 32 points in a tough OT victory. Whether it was getting paint touches, creating for his teammates, getting to his spots and knocking down shots, making key plays, or showing his motor, Watson just seemed to be everywhere and made big play after big play.

Very, very good program he’s coming from so that’s always some level of comfort for me. He’s on a HS team w/ multiple D1 guys on the roster, 2 of which are high majors. Wild that he only had one offer listed, & that it was D3

Ross has signed Camian Shell, a 5-10 true playmaker point guard from Winston-Salem via Coffeyville JUCO.
Played his HS ball at Parkland. He was big scorer there avg 21.4 ppg, all-conf., all-region, HM all state.
In juco, he learned to become a facilitator first but a PG who could still score. Avgd 7.3 ppg, 3 rebs, 4 assists pg and shot 45% from the three and 83% from the line. 4 to 1 turnover ratio. Tenacious man defender. Ball hawk. Good ball handler and passer in traffic.
Decided on a year at juco to get more looks from D-1 programs that passed on him initially because of his size.
Excellent student with 3 years of eligibility. Was a Top 50 kid in NC in 2021.
Had scholarship offers from Radford, Winthrop, Campbell, and Del State.

so far, i don't think we've signed enough talent to compensate for what we've loss thru the portal. we still need a couple of "difference makers" at the midmajor level to have a chance of being competitive in the conference...

How do you know what a difference maker is until he or she hit the Floor, Field, Diamond or Tennis Court for your program, not there previous program..i.e High School, College or JUCO. Even if you get a 4-5 🌟 . They are only difference makers on paper ,until they prove that they deserve that label. I'm for letting Coach Ross do his thing but I'm hoping that he brings in some/a few more Bigmen . Hell for me the only Difference Maker we lost (if you call it that 😆) was Love Bettis coming of the bench . Other then that we had no difference makers. Now if we where playing in a Rec Ball League or Horse , Hell we had a number of difference makers 😆🤣😂

"to my knowledge", no one that we've signed so far since coach ross took over is "more talented" than any of our former "big 3" (woods, watson, powell), at least not on film that i've seen. it remains to be seen if my "opinion" is incorrect, but i don't think it is. if you think otherwise, then that's your opinion and i sure as hail would like to know who da hail you think coach ross has signed that is as "physically talented" or better than any of our former "big 3". mind you, physical talent has nothing to do with "ball hogging" that both woods and watson exhibited...
