6’9” 245 lbs center and self proclaimed “defensive stopper”. Played in all 28 games, healthy. Not a bad pick up!

I like his ability to go to his left and use his left hand.

6’9” 245 lbs center and self proclaimed “defensive stopper”. that's my kind of guy! i'm all about "defense" and luv players who compete on both ends of the floor, especially those who do not have to be "forced" to play defense. guys who like to play "d" usually are very good at it. as a recruiter, my first priority would be to recruit guys who play both ends of the floor, not just "offense". yep, that's my kinda dude. give me some more of those kinda dudes...

Jalal McKie is a 6-5, 200 G/SF from Atlanta (College Park, GA) who played most of his high school career at Westlake where he was a Top Ten prospect in the state of Georgia before reclassifying to the class of 2023 and transferring to South Kent Prep (CT) which is a huge feeder school for a lot of the Big East programs. They won the NEPSAC AAA (private school) championship this past season. His high school stats from Westlake were impressive. Had scholarship offers from A&T and Towson in the CAA and another from Florida Gulf Coast. Also got looks from FSU, Georgia, Georgia State and VCU.

for a high school player, he has a "football body". looks to be more of a "power guard" than a finesse speedy type guard. he'll probably develop to become even "stronger" at the college level...

He reminds me of Doc Anderson. who is doc anderson? not sure that i'm familiar with him. but to me, this kid kinda reminds me of a "joe dumars" type of guard but physically bigger. doesn't appear on his video that he's the type that will "blow by you" off the dribble, but he does appear to be the type that can take you strong to the hoop and finish thru traffic...

I may have his name wrong, he was a starting guard for Don Corbet 80-83 built like a football player big legs quick and smooth.

Doc Anderson, another College Park, GA product, was one of best big guards to ever play at A&T. He and point guard Ron Sticthcomb composed one helluva backcourt.

i know nothing about this young man's game but i really like his public speaking skills. that's a young man who you can place in front of the media for questions who won't embarrass a&t's academics.
just based on that interview, he appears to be a very good student...

He mentioned Asst Coaches Rafferty and Daly. I wonder which Coach Daly is it? Ryan or Colin?
