We have been there before against TSU; also we need FAMU in a classic somewhere to remain relevant as a HBCU per FAMU silly chatter. Personally some of their chatter is over the top somewhat Drumpftian/Trumpian. Hey, let's take a deep breath before we start scheduling games with Jackson State and FAMU. We may want to wait a year to make sure our coaching staff can right this ship. If JSU and or FAMU kicks our butt next season we will become totally irrelevant in the HBCU sports world.

We can beat them with the wrong ship.

I'm not John Grant or ESPN Events/ESPN. But in my estimation, ESPN would want to ensure their bowl game has the most attractive matchups TV-wise. If there's a TV ratings slide in 22 and 23, a change to the format could be warranted. Who knows. 🤷🏿♂️ I don't think the ratings will slide as long as Deion is at JSU. From a TV standpoint only, the SWAC is the bell cow. They now have four teams that can carry the TV market regardless of the MEAC opponent: JSU, FAMU, Grambling, and Southern. For SCSU, their job is to create a run similar to ours which I think they can do. Hue Jackson and Deion will push each other which will improve the on-the-field product from the SWAC. As far as A&T is concerned, we will continue to create that tension because we will beat any MEAC or SWAC foe we play every year and whoever wins the Celebration Bowl will always get the question of "but could they have beaten A&T?". That question is set up fodder for classic or regular season games against the Celebration Bowl champion. The SCSU game next year will have a different kind of buzz around it. Although they won't admit it, CB champion's victories will be suspect until they beat us. #AggieArrogance I forgot to mention that A&T/Alcorn I and A&T vs. Grambling are still the highest ranked Celebration Bowl games TV wise. 🤷🏿♂️

I,m going to say something here that I believe we can accomplish if we are for Real; which is that A&T could be a dominant factor in the conference based upon some of my observation. In the Furman game we showed a quick strike scoring then somehow it fizzled. In the Gardner Webb game freshman return player almost took it to the house. If and only if we develop DISCIPLINE our turnaround will be talk in football. I ain't tripping but I believe that we can turn this mess around. Basically we got to pay the price.

SWAC schools are typically overrated, especially later in the season.

This may be true but they have the juice at the moment which is a good thing I guess for all of HBCU football and all sports in this period of renewal.

... A&T could be a dominant factor in the conference based upon some of my observation. Dominance is typically described as winning by 21 points or more. Who on our 2022 schedule will we be prepared to dominate?

After looking at NDSU team we don’t need a FBS game in 2022, they have FBS size across the defensive and offensive lines. No need to play two FBS teams in one season!
They are paying us just like a FBS team would…

They are paying us just like a FBS team would… And I hate that. They have played worse programs in a home and home .. we should have worked that out in my opinion. They are a fcs team and we should never be treated the same as Mississippi Valley State or others like we are not a legitimate fcs program. Moves like that deligitimize our program. This game should have been played at a neutral site or home and home. We gotta do better with scheduling .. we did the same thing with JMU.. it should be a rule of you are a fcs program we are not doing a money game - our program and our attendance is comprable to yours. All money ain’t good money. This is a bad money game.

I am sure there are others on their side of the country. D2 schools play money games against fcs schools the whole notion of two nationally ranked programs in the same division - which was the case when this deal was made is absurd. That’s the equivalent of NC State ranked 17th playing a money game at Alabama.. they would never disrespect themselves like that and neither should we.
