In this time , I would say Sanders. It's so many HBCUs who haven't invested in facilities. They need that voice. I do however believe Morgan made the right choice because they have already upgraded theirs FAMU upgraded their facilities without a celebrity coach🤷🏾♂️ Yeah...but FAMU was gifted $10M from the Blueprint Intergovernmental Agency for Bragg Stadium upgrades. It was supported by Florida State University because FSU knew that they were going to come right back the next year and ask Blueprint Tallahassee for $40M for their own stadium.
Blueprint gave FSU "...a $20 million appropriation for the stadium along with nearly $7 million in interest. Leon County Commissioner Jimbo Jackson moved to approve the bond financing, getting a second from Mayor John Dailey."

My main point is that their athletics director or president had absolutely nothing to do with this. It was an alert city councilwoman who knew of the need and knew where the money was.
Don't we have people in Greensboro government or Guilford County government who can be on the lookout for things like this that will help us??

Don't we have people in Greensboro government or Guilford County government who can be on the lookout for things like this that will help up??Isn’t the city giving us money to help with the WAR remodel? The city also donated a little money for the new track too It would be great if the city built an indoor track and field addition to the coliseum complex.

There is an excellent indoor facility JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem . If anything upgrade the Baseball and Football stadium fields or stadiums 🏟 .

Its a flat track with a low roof, poor lighting, it looks like a warehouse that someone threw a track into. NCAA and world class athletes run on banked tracks, flat tracks are bad on the ankles and times are slower. That was one of Coach Ross's issue with the location of the MEAC Track and Field Championships. The JDL Fast Track will never host world class meets due to the track and facility being subpar.

Everything I have heard about the facility speaks otherwise .

GSO is a college town and that should emphasized.

I think BDV should take the money that's being raised through its efforts and do something positive for the or a program instead of giving it to the people who are doing nothing. Then promote the hell out what was achieved! What about fund a two marketing interns to create and publish social media content? We ask the AD if they can split the cost?
