Not yet. BUT if we find two space eater starters at d-tackle, I might re-think my opinion. But even with the right roster, will our coaching be up to the task? We don't even know who will fill the coaching vacancies for sure. I wonder if Coach Washington is ok with the roster, and feels as if he can win with what he has? What if he thought the only problems were DBs and discipline? No comment on the coaching! lol I've been watching NDSU games from last year, and I would prefer to not get embarrassed... I think the comments somebody got from Coach Mattes, at Mallard Creek this past weekend, answers your 1st question.

welp, so much for the theory that playing in a pwc conference will improve our recruiting. not to mention, neither hampton nor tennessee state are anywhere to be found on this list even though they both also play in pwc conferences. guess it doesn't help their recruiting either...

Not so fast. As has been indicated, in this thread already, the list is flawed. From what I understand, TSU has picked up some "studs" that would cause the list some issues. One also has to understand that the 247 info. is only as good as the info. in it and I don't see our info. (Commits, Offers, etc.) in it quite a bit. I don't know who's responsible for updating it. Seems somebody told me the schools are the ones that do it, but I don't know.

Games are not won based on recruiting rankings. I would take A&T against any team on that list. I also don't put much stock in pre season rankings. Holla at me once the season is done. To hear some of y'all tell it we should just pack up the tent. The season is over before it has even started.

While nothing is guaranteed in recruiting and you’re correct in that, this list is based off of an inaccurate scale. It’s using 247sports, which doesn’t have all of our signees even listed to begin with. Doesn’t have all of our transfers for one thing. 247 never has the right amount guys listed for smaller schools

Jackson State last season should be a lesson of how overhyped rankings are.

ya'll can say what you want, but i expected ya'll to make "excuses" and ya'll did. bottom line is that we have not seen a significant increase in recruit talent since joining a pwc conference, period. all i know is that the 3 d1 hbcu's that are members of a pwc conference are no better off "talent wise" than d1 hbcu's who belong to hbcu conferences.
no postseason play for those 3 hbcu's in football, nor men's or women's basketball which are the premier revenue sports...

I'm gonna suggest to you that the numbers of "star-rated" players we got in after the announcement compared to the past are quite a bit different. In order for you to make that statement (bottom line is that we have not seen a significant increase in recruit talent since joining a pwc conference, period), do you know the numbers?

And we won't know the full accuracy of any of this lists until these players are on their campuses for at least 2 seasons.

Interesting 🤷🏾♂️ A&T doesn’t have Deion And Administration seems to be focused on academic fundraising, achieving R1 status to be exact
