It's ironic that it's leading back to a A&T-WSSU discussion because of our APR issues.
No one believed me when I stated the #1 reason they are not on the schedule for this year (and very few probably believe me now).
Anyway, the ball is in Broadway's court to make the call. Game set match!
Believe! Trust! GO AGGIES GO

I don't think that the NCAA will let you play a Money/guarantee game out side of the sub-Division as long as your under their APR THum?? That is my understanding, too. As long as the APR problem is still around, no guarantee games are allowed against FBS teams. With that being the case, I would like to see App State, Furman, Georgia State or a very beatable Western Carolina on the 2013 schedule. (I think that UNCC has already completed their schedule.) You can play FBS games as long as you have the minimum number of scholarships of 57 over a two year period. With that stated I think the earliest we'll be able to play one is 2014 if we offer at least 57 this season.

put wssu back on the schedule... Not as long as they're wanting a home & home. Besides didn't Wheels say they declined our offer of a guarantee to play in Aggie Stadium?

(we should not take a game for less than $500,000. We can make that by playing two cupcakes at).......DOUBT THAT NCAT makes that kind of money on games not called HC or WSSU/NCCU We wouldn't make that on a single game (outside of HC, WSSU/NCCU and a end of a season game for a conf. title) but if for two straight games that average 9,000 - 12,000, which is what VUL and W. Va. State will most likely generate, expecting $500,000 in gross revenue is pretty much S.O.P. especially since we have the GameZone in place.

WSSU would be the best option if we can not get a money game. With 12 games possible no one should be able to dispute why we shouldn't play them. Now it will be arguments over how much they should be paid to come to Aggie Stadium and should we go with another North Carolina FCS opponent or maybe Coastal again. UNCC will be in the mix by then as well.

I'm gonna make an assumption and say WSSU will be on the schedule next season and UVL or W. Va State will be dropped. So, there still may a hole in the schedule.

I hope the MEAC office will fix it where we are not playing 3 to 4 straight conference games on the road. Let also keep in mind that we will probably play Sav State and Hampton as conference game and drop 2 conference games.

We have and option GSU Also keep in mind we are paying VUL and W.Va State to come to Aggie land So why not try to get Grambling State University on the Schedule

It will be very interesting to see how WSSU manage their home games now that the WSSU game stadium is privately owned by a racing owner. BTW, why in the heck did WSSU build a multi-million dollar field house without first owning the stadium land

Last that I heard, the city of Winston-Salem was trying to sell the stadium to WSSU! What happened with that??
