Well, well........here we go, here we go!!! Will the circle be unbroken? Our 1st "scheduled" football game of 2011 is now in jeopardy. St. Paul's is financially and conference-required to play JC Smith in Charlotte the same date they are scheduled to play us. Money will determine what happens next. JC Smith has to agree to be paid off in order for it to work for us. This is another piece of bungling NEGR_ MESS!!! It's true its on St. Paul but dam-a-lam!!! When will the madness stop? ?

I was hoping that this shoe was not going to drop...but my guy over in JCSU Athletics told me that it would. (smh) There is a solution that is being worked on, but...we'll just have to see what happens from here.

At least you could charge for tailgating at the WSSU game with a clearer conscience.
We have no business playing St. Pauls at all, ever. Even if we moved to the CIAA we would have no business playing them. I'd be embarassed as a coach to request it. That's a SWAC move, and this ain't the SWAC.

I thought COACH BROADWAY request the game against St. Paul's, it was St. Paul's or New Hampshire? AGGIE "BLUEDEATH" PRIDE

Hilton ain't starting off to good Can't blame this on Hilton. This is a screw up by St. Pauls.

I think St. Paul's and JC Smith will rectify this mix-up.

Is the JC Smith vs St Paul game considered a non-conference game since they are not in the same division?
If it is considered a non-conference game then JC Smith might be able to find another opponent.
How in the world did St Paul AD not know about their scheduled game with JC Smith unless they feel they can bumped the opponent like a lot of major Div I football teams do by just paying off the "bumped" opponent.

Maybe we can just have a scrimmage. Nobody will know the difference.

I was just looking at HBCU.com and saw Tuskegee has an open date for 3 Sep. I think an Aggie vs Tuskegee game will draw a few more fans than St. Paul.

It's rumored that Coach Broadway wished to play St. Pauls as a tune up game. If that's true, he wouldn't be interested in playing Tuskeegee.
