Okay...easy enough! Now, who is that? This late in the game it's gonna be tough trying to find a game...especially a powder puff team that we can stomp a mudhole in to get our confidence up, without having to pay a bunch of loot. I'd say Tuskeegee would be a nice game if they are open...we can't worry about losing to a D2 team. We just gotta play like there's no tomorrow and I like our chances with anybody except App. State.

TU wants a home game. I'm sure the fee would be double for them to come to Aggie Stadium.

Would the Golden Tigers make the ride up to Greensboro? They will but we got to pay them. They may be SIAC but they garner cash. I will assume they will ask for at least $75,000 and I am being VERY conservative.

Naw! If this is an option, pay them the $75,000. With Tuskegee the draw just went to least 15K. With both NCCU and WSSU on the road Labor Day weekend, and a little bit of marketing we may get 18k.

Sign a home and home deal with them and get this mess over with . Travel to Alabama to play a D2 team when you won't go 20 miles down the road to play WSSU. Not gonna happen...

At this point , what else do we have as an option. Looking like St Pauls is playing JCSU. We have no home game opponent on Labor Day and we are selling season tixs. We must have a home game for Labor Day.
If we play Tuskegee , we just play them at home this year and go there next. When you have no options , what can you do .

I spoke with the SPC AD he seems confident they will work everything out. Besides there are other teams with availability. I think Newberry (SC) has an open date for that week.

Looking at it roughly last night, there about eight schools within 4 hours of Greensboro without Labor Day dates and a ten game schedule on the D-II level.

Why don't we just pull the trigger on St Paul and get a firm committment from another school? I have a bad feeling about this situation going down to the last minute and being left out without a game.No way in hail would I wait for someone else to control my future with promises. Bird in the hand is better than one in the bush.

It should be settled by the the end of this month one way or other with them or someone else. There is a deadline in place.

Sure there is , I guess at some point the fans will know something. I personally feel that some phones call need to be made and a contract signed soon. Like yesterday soon
