I wouldn't get too hyped good or bad. This is a preliminary roster. Mostly a listing of new faces that are in summer school. A lot mistakes on class and some names we know are left off are on the team and in school. Use it for infomational or tease purposes, depending on your point of view, at this point.

Lavonte Kendrick DE 6-2 240 JR Gastonia, N.C. GastoniaThis kid was a 6’1, 180 lb WR and Charlotte Observer player of the Year when he signed last year. www.ncataggies.com/Football/articles/signing%20day%2006.htmDag, is the eating that good on campus? Well, he might be good for DE if he still has the speed and the strength coach was working with him. You can't coach talent.

It also looks like he was the #3 qb and only saw action in one game with zero pass attempts. I can't even find high school info on him.

Are you sure you're not looking at stats from his Freshman year? Since we have him listed as a junior transfer he must have spent two years at Lackawana.
BTW: That is the same school that produced Alan Jones, so I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't even show up.

The stats I looked at were from the 2006 season. He wasn't even on their roster for the 2005 season.

They mispelled his name. Drop an L. Quinzel Chestnut.....Played at Meade High School in Maryland. Still not a lot of info out there other than short blurbs...
John Hunt III
This kid, however, was a 1,000 yard passer in school. Millbrook runs a Wing T.

The Wing T?
This kid just became Dooms' favorite quarterback.

Yeah like I said earlier, there are alot of typo errors on these roster stats. Thrilla you bring out an interesting tidbit
Fobbs, a protege of Eddie Robinson who was master of the wing-T? Now signing wing-T quarterbacks? Will Dooms get his wish and see a three man backfield ala Bill Hayes? Are we about to transition back to what worked for us so well in the 90's?
We certainly have the backs for it and he has brought in five new offensive linemen.
Hmmmmmmm.

You don't need a specific type of qb to run the wing-t, other than he oughta be able to fake the ball pretty well if he doesn't want to end up on his a$$ every time he passes.
I'd be shocked if Fobbs ran the wing-t. Unfortunately I'd be shocked because it makes too much sense and we haven't really done anything that makes sense in a few years.
Considering the roster still says 2006 roster at the top, just as A-1 typed I wouldn't put any stock in it other as a teaser. They obviously haven't finished updating it.

Not by a long shot. It just tells you who is back from sitting out last year, who is in summer school in the first semester among the transfers and who's not gonna be coming back at all (for the most part) come August.
Wait until the end of July then we'll can really look at it again with some real scrutiny.
