And lets be clear. I'm not calling for Lees head. the offense is whats needs the work. shoot, i don't see nothing on defense to write home to mom about either! we couldn't even protect a lead against wssu, hampton had a friggin' "field day" on us, and central still moved the ball on us far more than i would've liked. when we're 0-4 and also lose to central and winston, nobody gets a pass! as far as i'm concerned, nothing is acceptable about this football team except a friggin' win! personally, i don't want hear anything about moral victories, this looks good, that looks good, and things like that. if you think i'm a tad bit pissed with our team, then you're correct! hail, i've had my official life member "trash talking card" completely "revoked" by the national azz kicking authorities and suspended for the rest of the season! and they won't even let me re-apply under a different name! that's how bad we suck! man, i've never felt so "defenseless" in my entire born life than i did leaving central's stadium saturday night. my "trash talking card" got revoked right on the spot! there i was proudly dressed in aggie gold from head to toe and when i left the stadium, central's fans "heckled" the living hail outta me! and i couldn't say jack back to them! i'm like, man, i drove 4 hours to get here and sweated thru 3 quarters for this? say what ya want about fobbs, but even after 22 consecutive losses, he never loss to both central and winston in the same friggin' season! geeesh! and i'm not gonna point any fingers (yet), but man, it don't get much worst than this. i'm gonna need some personal time to regroup. 'cause i ain't taking these losses very well... What Game were you watching on Sat? The Defense was not bad and we damn near gave them good field position from our turnovers on OFFENSE. The defense, mayhew and lewis kept us in the game. Our Defense caused turnovers and put the team in good field position. The only game I felt that they got beat was at Hampton. Winston, they were tired at the end and we had quite a few players not playing that game. If you want to give up as a fan .. then give up and then we do not have to hear you go on your rants. I am just sick of the whining that we do as fans and don't look for the positives.

#43 is my hero, what class is he? I'm looking for big things from that young man. I've been impressed the 3 games I witnessed with his speed and ball hawkness(word?).
Defense is fine. Score more than 2 offensive TDs/game and we are definitely 3-1.
Damn, just found out he a senior, oh well. So much for my positive.

Kev, we are starting the season off 0-4 for the third time in 3 years.
It is not easy to find a whole lot of positives in that fact.

I know Thrilla but, some people need to take a chill pill and look at the whole picture. We all know that this team is better than what the record indicates and yes it is frustrating. If you keep telling someone that they suck or are not good anyhting then they start to believe in those statements. We have to encourage these kids not to give up and that we have their backs no matter what.

I am just sick of the whining that we do as fans and don't look for the positives. kev, no one could ever accuse me of quitting on this team. i was there for this team when hardly anybody else was. i stuck with this team thru 27 consecutive losses and remained supportive of the coaches all the way through. so let's be clear, i am not quitting on this team. but i'm sure as hail is frustrated! and i have a right to be. it ain't like i haven't done my share of supporting this team. in my eyes, if we're winless, then no aspect of the team has played well enough, otherwise we wouldn't be winless. i'm tired of always looking for small positive things as if its a substitute for winning. i've done that too many times in the past. sorry, no more moral victories please. perhaps now i'm a little more sensitive about winless records because i was one of the few who stayed strong and suffered with the team thru those 27 consecutive losses and it pains me that we find ourselves in a similar place. but i ain't quitting on the team, just dayum frustrated. even coach lee stated that we played a horrible game. some of us need to come out of denial. and at least i'm not calling for anybody's job...

Lets be fair and not operate in double standards...in all fairness to Fobbs, and I'm not claiming he can coach, BUT....when he went 0-22 he started from scratch. 06 was a high school team basically, our 07 squad that went 0-11 lost 7 games in the final 3-4 mins of the game that year due to lack of depth. 08 he beat JC Smith and Winston, not saying much at all....then loses to Norfolk and Hampton...then lost to NCCU by 1 point due to his decision not to go for two. That pretty much sealed it for him, after that he was done. Now, between 07 and 08 he lost the linebacker from Ole Miss, forgot his name but, he was Patrick Willis' backup there, and Speedy Robinson...two players they were being counted on heavily in 08. We fired him...okay, I'm cool with that if that's the standard.
Now, let's apply the same standard to Lee. He came in with some of his own recruits along with Fobbs' boys and won 4 games on the field, 1 on paper. Now, he's in his second year, with a waaay more talented team and 0-4 to start the season and I witnessed with my own eyes our coaching staff lose 2 of those. Now, I posted a thread "What will happen if we go 0-11 on the season?" From what I hear, Lee will be safe...if so, someone explain to me how. We should be better than what we were when Fobbs was here and I say we are talent-wise. But, if you can't coach the talent, what good is it? I saw coaches cursing players out, for what? Don't curse them because, you haven't prepared them properly. That's not cool. I like Lee...I think he needs to be forced to hire a new oc just like Fobbs had to. If not, and he's willing to sink with his ship then, so be it.
Lastly, I'll just say...if you give Connell our talent, we wouldn't be having this discussion...we'd definitely be at least 3-1. Coaching is everything, gentlemen. Having said that, we have to hold our coaches accountable...plain and simple.

Unprepared players - WTH are you talking about dude? These players are as prepared as can be. They just have to learn how to execute and finish. A coach can't coach that all they can do is send da play in Staying with stuff that stinks - The plays that haven't worked is due to porr execution! I guess you are talking about that stretch play (I'll comment on that play in a minute) Morgan hasn't been put in good positions - Morgan isn't a "world beater" but he's suppose to be a D-1 QB. and we had 24 1st downs last Sat. Good things have happened when we go vertical - The match-ups are great as far as size is considered but other than that you have to make a play! The team averaged 10.3 yards per 1st down this Saturday so why mix it up? I haven't seen any setup plays - You cannot be serious when you said you are happy that "stretch play" is out the playbook??? Are ANY of you whining fans watching the games? A&T ran outside zone (aka THAT STRETCH PLAY) the ENTIRE game and GASSED NCCU with it. 211 rushing yards to be exact. Check the film or ask a player if you think I'm incorrect. Going away from stuff that did work - The plays looked as if they were called according to the hash! SMART FOOTBALL...Oh yeah, all of our TD's this year have come off the middle to right side of the line. You guys kill me on here...smh lol

Thanks Krazykev, I have been looking at the same team you have. First of all, the offense played much better, racking up over 350yrds of total offense. We beat ourselves in this game, Center/ QB exchange, I was told the defense saying hut! hut!, throwing the snap count off with all the crowd noise. RB trying to fight for extra yards after contact, I can live with the extra effort. Just work on ball handling skills. But the turnovers came at very crucial times. Alone with the drive killing penalties, a whole never story.
The defense played a great game, with the hand they where dealt. Finally, they had some gas in the tank down stretch. Averaging 70+ plays for 3 consecutive week was brutal. Holding down Central offense under 260yrds of total offense. Overall, they responded great to the first quarter let downs. Like I said before quitting isnt an opposition.
Our coaches are doing a great job at keeping these guys focus. There is still alot of work to be done in the Office and on the field. I've seen steady progress each week, with seeing progress, its worth me driving 10 1/2 hrs to watch home games. Go Aggies! To tell you the truth, The good people of North Carolina are great at tailgating, they know no strangers, if your a Aggie fan or the opponents fan. They treat you like family. Thanks, My Aggie people!

Man, if this is acceptable football to you guys then....I'm at a lost for words on that one...WOW!!!! A college football team going out and playing like we played Saturday....I just expect more for a college team. The coaching was worse than high school and Hillside's game wasn't coached well at all. The one thing I can't understand is...when Fobbs was here, our standards for our football coach were sky-high, now Lee walks through the door and all of a sudden our standards suddenly drop. We are back to looking for moral victories from week to week. The offense improved this week...whup-tee-dew! That's what it's supposed to do...HELLO! Our expectation should be winning rather than, the offensive line played better this week. Why does this only make sense to me???

steadymovin, come on man. We averaged WHAT on 1st down? I would love to see those numbers. That statement takes away ALL your cread.
Were were 3-9 on 3rd down. Players not executing is practice which is in turn coaching.
We averaged 5.9 on first down and that's a little skewed because we were behind and had to pass a lot in the 4th. NEVER Debate Stats without being sure my man.
24 First Downs, Yes that stat is correct, but I can count 6 that were due to penalties and about 3 or 4 on our last ditch effort drive, so thats not saying much.
Still haven't said where we used setup plays. You just bitching about my stretch play comment.
I'm not really a stat guy, I think they are manipulated to the benefit of the person pulling them out their a$$. Bottom line is our offense stunk it up again. This time it was turnovers. Stop trying to defend a bad OC. Sure I have Aggie Pride, but a Spade is a Spade. You tell him to prove us Whining a$$ fans wrong. I would love for him to. Please prove me wrong Berry. Shut my a$$ up please. Im with you on this ohsixrain.
P.S. I'll be in Indy hoping he shuts me up as well.

EXACTLY! You will be in Indy, you will be @ homecoming, you were @ Central....etc etc etc....
I just don't understand, if you are so tired and negative then BOUNCE! Hell, if the McDonald's on Summitt Ave. moves any slower I'm going to STOP GOING! I'm not going to B*TCH ALL THE D*MN TIME like I'm a french frie gurue! Hell if I were then I would be working there! If you know so much about football, this that & the 3rd then PLEASE write the OC directly! As a metter of fact, GO to his office and talk to him in your free time! Make suggestions, I'm sure he's up to it. Hell he has to have alot of free time since according to you all we suck so bad so he can't possibly be doing anything in his office all day!
