I haven't gotten to the point where I've loss faith in the Broadway and his staff. However, it was hard to watch yesterday's game against Delaware State. Our offense was very slow getting and starting the plays, our QBs were missing wide-open receivers and why were we continuously running the ball up the middle in the 4th quarter when we needed two scores to win. On defense, what started the season as a 'No Fly Zone' sometimes appears to be a 'Frequent Flyer Zone'. It's an 9 hour roundtrip for me to go the game and yesterday game was very frustrating to watch but I'll be there for homecoming!!!

"By firing the OC last hear, this signaled he wanted a change in how this offense was performing. Fastforward to yesterday; we were extremely ineffective on offense....only 1 out of 14 on 3rd down conversions; barely 200 total yards of offense. The same things we chided the OC for last year are the same things going down this year."
I think Bussle has the right X's and O's but he cannot pass the ball for our QB's or catch the balls for our receivers. And he cannot block for our offense line. The replacement of our OC last year was just the first step in fixing our offense...the next step is to recruit some more talent. I've personally watched every game but Hampton and the opportunities on offense are there...we just fail to execute. But changing the OC again is not the answer. In fact, I'm worried that one of our current position coaches will leave at the end of the season. We need talent and we need consistency.
I hate losing more than any of you guys on this site. I get real upset when we lose. And if it wasn't for my 2 hour drive home after we lose a game I would have stopped all of my contributions to A&T and given all of my A&T hats and tee shirts to the Salvation Army. That said, I also know that just because I want A&T to win every game, these are still young men that are working hard to get better. Heck, I wasn't perfect all the time in my career so why should I expect these kids to be perfect. We will get better and we will win more games...but we have got to trust the people we have put in charge of our football program.

There's no excuse for this! We need to stop making excuses for Broadway and coaching staff. If you didn't let Fobbs and other coaches off the hook, why start now. The same standard and expectation should be maintained. He's responsible for fixing this, so he needs to fix it now! This team is going backwards and forward. I curious to why!

How many games did Fobbs win and how many has Broadway won? Enough said...

I'm no football genious but Fobbs is no Broadway. Broadway has won at NCCU and Grambling before he came here. What track record did Fobbs have? I cannot believe I have to defend Broadway over Fobbs. You guys that are complaining about our coaches need to chill out. You may not like the play calling but that's no reason dump our coaches. And who do you now want coaching the team?

I see naborhood's point, but dont like what he is implying with it.
The old OC got canned for a measly offense with the SAME kids. He was fired by Broadway. Broadway hires a new OC and the offense has been measly AGAIN with the same exact kids. So why not put some of the blame on Broadway for not knowing who to hire as an OC? I get his point. Not sure why he is giving the OC so little time, but I still see his point.
Here's the problem I have with that. The offense under the old OC gave us ZERO faith that they could get it done. While the offense this year has not done great things it has shown that it can execute a proper game plan. The offensive troubles this year are stuff like drops, miscommunications, and just bad overall QB play. We are even getting pass the 50 more than previous years. Thats all stuff that can be fixed with small adjustments. The offense in the past just plain stank!. We could not get first downs, we could not get past the 50, and we had no big play threats(meaning plays). If this years offense hits a few plays here and there they are still undefeated. Thats a huge difference.
So I feel you naborhood. I think most of us do. But I see the difference and am not phased about whats happening. Maybe because I NEVER thought the offense was really clicking to begin with.

I think y'all are missing Gator's point. I don't think he's comparing Fobbs to Broadway, but comparing our expectations. If you are unwilling accept mediocrity, then Saturday's mediocre 7 point performance and the past two weeks is a bad trend and shouldn't be acceptable either. The SCSU is a tolerable loss, but I'm not buying the no talent defense for these last two. That doesn't mean we should storm the stadium, or that we lost faith that the coaching staff can fix this, but that’s who needs to fix this, because the trend is going the wrong way.

The performance should be about expected if you look at the totality of the situation. I mean even beyond the talent issues.
Who have we played and beaten?
While we were beating three teams with a grand total of four or five wins between them at this point of the season, Del State was getting destroyed by top 10 teams. Against SSU, they had to shake the few weeks of azz whuppings they took. They got to us at the perfect time (for them).
We ain't played nobody. We ain't beat nobody. The wins looked a lot better then than they do now. We haven't had a massive influx of talent since the 0-fer and the one-fer days. In fact, our numbers have dropped pretty dramatically. So what in the hell can you reasonably expect?!?
I was happy with the early season wins, but reality started setting in during the second half of the Howard game. We still are not there yet, and we are at least three years from being close. The coaching staff ain't tell y'all to start talking about some dam playoffs. That is y'all's fault. Talent and numbers-wise, we still are not on a par with any number of teams we play. Despite that, we started out 3-0. Now folk wanna dog the same coaches that got us the 3-0.
Now is not even close to the time to freak out. Now if three years from now (yes, THREE years) we have had steady APR footing, spring practices, good scholarship numbers, good retention, and stable coaching, and we start losing games, then we have a problem. Right now the main problem I see is people yelling and screaming because they sold wolf tix based on a fast start.

I don't know how many of us went to the game on Saturday.....I was there. That offensive performance was as bad as I've seen. When you lose to SCSU (which I didn't complain about) and Hampton (still can't believe) for 2 straight weeks, I would have expected the team to do everything possible to make sure a third loss wasn't going to go happen.
I understand we cannot win every game.....however that doesn't excuse the offensive performance this past Saturday. Sure, Delaware State has played better competition than us so far this year. Nevertheless, we (not they) were our own worst enemies. It was a bad offensive display on Saturday, and any Aggie who went to that game cannot honestly say they feel comfortable about any game for the rest of the year.
Things need to improve immediately....

Well here is a wake up call NHSS; things won't improve immediately. As said in previous post 3 years before we should expect a solid team.

I'm not talking about wins or losses Trueaggie..... Can we at least do better on 3rd down conversions? Can we at least hike the ball to the QB without the ball going all the way back to Bessemer Avenue? Can we work the middle of the field better? Can we devise plays to get Cohen in more open space? Can we devise plays for Quick and Cohen in the wildcat formation? Can we score more points?
I'm fine with us not being MEAC champions. I'm fine with us not making the playoffs. I'm not fine with the offense......it can improve. Stop acting as if this is something we have to accept - I'm not buying it....

Talent was not the issue the last two weeks, execution is, that's not a talent problem. Whether it's mental or physical, I don't know. But DSU shouldn't get off their 10 hour bus ride and hold us to scoreless for 58 minutes, though they (DSU) played top ten teams they aren't a top 10 FCS team. This is not the same Aggie team that went into the GA Dome!
