The honeymoon is officially over with me and Aggie football under Broadway. I know what I may say may be unpopular to many, but it needs to be said - HE CLEARLY DOESN'T UNDERSTAND OFFENSE. He fired Pizzo after a pathetic offensive performance last year. He then hires Bustle and all of his experience. For the few Aggies who went to the game today, they will tell you it was an ABSOLUTELY PUTRID PERFORMANCE by the offense. PUTRID!!! When 2 offensive coordinators are this bad, it tells me the head coach really doesn't understand offense, or wants to create the offense in the style he wants it. Either way, the results are the same.....the offense was an F- for well over 3 quarters today....and that's grading them on a curve. Kindle was bad. Quick was worse. The center snapping the ball was even worser (I know it's not a word). This team has talent on offense - THEY CLEARLY ARE NOT BEING COACHED WELL. We have lost to a bad Hampton team and a below-average Delaware State team in consecutive weeks. This crap needs to stop immediately. We are clearly not playing to our potential. We are not this bad and I don't want any Aggie up on here trying to paint this over with a broad stroke saying that we are in "rebuilding mode." This team is much too talented to be 3-3. The excuse making needs to stop NOW. Broadway (and Bustle) is offensively driving this team right off the cliff. The defense has been solid the whole way through. This offensive ineptitude needs to change immediately. There's no way Delaware State should have held us to only 7 points today.....let me rephrase that - THERE'S NO WAY BROADWAY SHOULD HAVE HELD US TO 7 POINTS TODAY. I repeat - this is inexcusable....and if Aggies are truly honest about the whole thing, they'd come to the same conclusion. I will still go to the games (even when it rains) and support this team, but I expect improvement from week to week. This offense is CLEARLY REGRESSING, and Broadway and his staff have NO IDEA on how to put a series of plays together. Sorry folks, but I'm going to have to leave 2 final words that should be in the back of every Aggie's mind after the game today and over these next few weeks if things don't improve ----- CONNELL MAYNOR. The honeymoon and the excuses are all done ----- WE SHOULD BE DOING BETTER THAN THIS. Broadway needs to be held accountable for this bull for 2 weeks straight. ABSOLUTELY AN INEXCUSABLE OFFENSIVE PERFORMANCE TODAY - INEXCUSABLE

It makes me wonder if you ever played the game are any sports at all at any level. Now your questioning the coaches Man come on, get real.

The offense laid an egg. The man tried a change at QB(JUST LIKE A LOT OF PEOPLE HERE THOUGHT WAS NEEDED). The result was the same. We dont have a Div1 "WINNING" QB on the team. I hate to say it with so many games left, but we dont. Kindle is a average QB that came to A&T when it was at his lowest point. A lot of these players did. Is year 3 in the rebuilding process. We are going to take 3 steps forward and 2 steps back. And not necessarily the same people at the same time. Meaning the offensive line will play bad one week and then the QB the next, the OC the next, etc, etc.
Lets fix it(I'm sure they will),keep clapping for these guys and finish the season strong. See yall at homecoming where I will be cheering like hell for the aggies.

As Grambling has shown us you have to be careful for what you wish for. You just might get it. I'm not ready to throw any of the coaches overboard. However it is clear that our coaches are really stubborn. They refuse to make adjustments. They stuck with the shotgun formation for too long. They ran the same read option play far too many times. There's definitely room for improvement.

The offense was going to have to eventually step up and they just never have. Not surprised by this and neither should anyone else that's been seeing how we have REALLY been winning. Our offense still needs a lot of work.

To compare this to the Grambling/Broadway scenario is weak. In his last year at Grambling, he finished 9-2, with one of those losses being against an FBS Louisiana Tech.
We put up 7 points against Delaware State. We have not scored 30 points since we beat a bad Norfolk State team last year (30-9), and if you all recall in that game, Dvonte Graham ran a missed FG back 100 yds for one of those TDs.
I hear what everyone is saying, but we're going on 2 years now with our offensive side of the ball being putrid. I'm tired of having to rely upon special teams and our defense to score points or keep us in the game. OUR OFFENSE IS OFFENSIVE. Broadway needs to be held accountable for its ineptitude. You cannot keep on blaming the OC's year to year - HE HIRED THEM.
Sorry folks - it's week 6. Lack of spring practice or not.......we only scored 7 points against Delaware State. That's unacceptable, now matter what excuse you want to put on this one. We have too many talented players out there to be struggling to muster one touchdown against Delaware State.

NHSS, Recognize we are in a major rebuilding process; not only spring practice but also # of scholarships and time allowed to practice. I wouldn't trade Broadway for anybody else; sticking with him I see we are going to be a premier football team. The we have to much talent is questionable; I think the team is playing hard to win. Remember most coaches (Maynor) wouldn't except the job at Tee in the position we were in.

To compare this to the Grambling/Broadway scenario is weak. In his last year at Grambling, he finished 9-2, with one of those losses being against an FBS Louisiana Tech. So, has Broadway forgotten how to coach in three years? You were just killing our starting qb last week and our backup was recruited to be a defensive back. DSU was far more physical across the line of scrimmage than us and we can't get defensive pressure without blitzing. We have a way to go...

I'm not that concerned. No spring practice, the teams we did beat are terrible, and I'm not seeing the gobs of talent on this team some people see. Meanwhile, Del State has played some of the VERY best teams in fcs.
The starting qb was recruited by the worst coach in hbcu history (literally). His backup was recruited to be a db. We are coming off very serious NCAA restrictions that are doing exactly what they were designed to do. Punish.
The great players people think we have failed out over the past few years. Our best players are arguably an undersized true freshman running back and an undersized senior defensive back. That is a recipe for trouble.
It's unfortunate, but the opposing team expects to win as much as we do. And they had spring practice and no apr restrictions.

We don't need a coaching change. Let me say that another way...this team's problems are not with the coaches. We need more talented players or we need more time teachijg these players.
Broadway can coach and he has the resume to prove it. I think Bussle can coach offense if he had the right talent. Folks, we don't have the talent. Remember a couple of years ago when we played with a bunch of walk ons? Well you don't replace those guys with quality players overnight. Let's just relax and let this season play out. We have some major gaps on our team and I hope we can recruit more players next year.

I see a few pieces here and there but overall we're still behind most MEAC schools. No point wishing for Maynor. He's a good coach with far superior talent than almost anyone else in D-II while Broadway is a good coach but is still outmanned by most of his opponents. I know folks don't want to hear it but we just have to be patient.

PLEASE LEAVE COACH BROADWAY ALONE AND GIVE HIM TIME TO BRING IN HIS PLAYERS. WHEN BROADWAY GOT HERE HE WAS NOT GIVEN A STACK DECK. THIS MAY SUPRISE SOME OF YOU DIEHARD AGGIES BUT A&T FOOTBALL IN SOME CIRCLES IS LOOK UPON AS A JOKE. WE WERE DOWN FOR SO LONG THAT WE ARE HAVING PROBLEMS RECRUITING AGAINST OF ALL PEOPLE OTHER HBCU'S. WE HAVE GOT TO BRING THE AGGIE BRAND BACK UP TO THE GLORY(HAYES)YEARS.I AM GOING TO SUPPORT COACH BROADWAY AND GIVE HIM A CHANCE BECAUSE STABILITY IS THE KEY!

NHSS, YOU NEED TO TAKE YOUR BLINDERS OFF BECAUSE DSU AND HAMPTON HAVE JUST AS MUCH OR EVEN MORE TALENT AS THE AGGIES. JUST BECAUSE THEY WEAR THE AGGIE UNIFORM DO NOT MAKE THEM SUPERSTARS. DO A LITTLE RESEARCH ON THE ROSTERS AND YOU MIGHT GET A BIG SUPRISE

I don't need a history lesson on how bad we were as a program. We are using our past woes as a crutch as to why we could only muster 7 points against Del State at home. Even savannah st scored 20 on them. It is not asking too much for Broadway and Bustle to concoct an offensive gameplan that can get us more than 7 points at home. I understand our past years of futility. However, we cannot keep on using the "we arent as bad as we use to be " card to explain off a Hampton loss one week and a pathetic 7-point output the following week. This team isn't full of scrubs. Our staff needs to do better job with our offense. A 7-point output is inexcusable folks. Stop justifying a flawed gameplan.....
