Each week the coaching staff ask the player to go out and play to their full potential and this season I have no doubt that they gave ve their all each game but to say that Quick should not be given a opportunity because he don't give us the best opportunity is hard for me to to comprehend because the only time he was given a chance to play he led his team to the biggest victory in many years I said this before that I fully supported the coaching staff in their decision to start Kindle the next game but I was sure we see Quick in some form I still remember when a Qb from Charlotte played at Florida and won the nation championship and he was a great passer but Florida still had a package designed for a young Qb name Tim Teabow not saying that our Qb are on that level but to point out the fact that it made Florida a multidimensional team and if you look back on that Florida team and our team this year other than Leak we have similar player at wide out running back So let say the football GOD'S favor us next year and we land some super star Qb a Quick package would be still valuable

Question:
If Quick doesn't play again this year, can they use this year as a redshirt? Or did that get busted because he played the full App State game.

dooms, i don't think quick can be redshirted this year. he's already played a full game against app state which makes him ineligible to be redshirted this season. if he had had a season ending injury against app state, there would've been a chance that he could've been granted a medical redshirt, but there would've been no guarantee of that...

Teabow was On campus for the spring camp because he graduated early so they had time to put his package in. I have no problem with Quick if we were a run based team that was committed to running, but that is not the case . We flip flop to often, we throw when we should stick to the run and the bad part about the passing is their always deep passes, nothing underneath so that the rereceivers can use their quickness as teams have been doing to us. We have a strong running and passing game but their is something wrong with the way we use it. Something that only having a spring practice camp can fix. Learning a system on the fly is not the best way but right now it's all we can do. Also maybe kindle is picking up and understanding the plays and system a lot quicker then the rest and that is why he is still the starter .

OSA, I was not getting confrontational with you. Anytime someone disagrees with you or make an amendment to what you have said you get sensitive.
You did not come right out and say the elements caused us to lose but you were aiming that way. As I stated both teams played in the same elements. We did not execute with our passing game missing wide open receivers. These players are not in a recreational league and they should be able to execute just as well as their opponents in any type conditions. Quit making excuses for our team when they don't perform well.

Again, Kindle is not a "10" on the scale of "10". He is a "5" and shrinking. What do we have to lose in playing Quick more or giving him a chance to start. If we lose one more game there is no need to keep playing Kindle. We ain't gone win a championship. Get Quick ready for next year unless we have a dynamite q b coming in.

Quit making excuses for our team when they don't perform well. first of all, i really would appreciate it if you wouldn’t involve me in “any” of your posts, ever. i don’t mind having “dialogue” with folks and i don’t mind if folks disagree with me. but what i do mind is folk like you “ falsely quoting me” as you did. so please stop involving me in any of your posts, you’re too “confrontational”. i “never” stated that the rain caused us to lose the game or that it cause hampton to win the game. i asked you to find just one sentence where i stated that and you couldn't because i didn't. my only statement “ which is a FACT” was that the rain “influenced” the game. but you took that and turned it into a statement that i didn’t say and then had the nerve to dispute the statement " that you made up" as if i said it. dude, were you even at the game? well, i was and anybody who was there can tell you that rain was a factor in that game. i saw the game with my own eyes in person. did you? if so, you sat " in the rain" like the rest of us, yet your post demonstrates your "confrontational" nature because if you were there you'd know that the game was played under "wet" conditions. again, i repeat, i really would appreciate it if you would not involve me in “any” of your posts. ok? would you do me that favor? man, just leave me out of any of your posts. i'd rather deal with “rational” folks who aren’t always confrontational...

Question: If Quick doesn't play again this year, can they use this year as a redshirt? Or did that get busted because he played the full App State game. He lost that as soon as he took a snap.. He could qualify for a medical redshirt if he was medically incapacitated for less than a third of the season.

[
no matter what, if kindle messes up, there's gonna be a certain number of folks who are gonna blast the guy. many of whom probably wasn't even at the game to see it first hand. i fail to see anybody point out the fact that the game was influenced by rain during the game which made it more difficult to hold onto the ball (for the wr's) and more difficult to pass the ball...
Does this mean that Hampton played on a different field and under different (and more favorable) conditions???

Right on bigpeete1. If Kindle is the best we have as QB then we are in trouble. Quick won one of the biggest games ever at A&T and he has not been seen or heard from since. That is ridiculous. A smart coach would not let him "rot" on the bench with all of his talents. I believe he would have excelled in the rainy elements at Hampton. Our team has declined in its performance in every game since the App State game and that is in part to Kindle being the "starting" QB. Our players don't even respond to Kindle as they did Quick in Boone. They know who the real QB should be starting. They don't play for Kindle as they do Quick and you would see that if the coach would quit being stubborn and play him. It don't take a "brain surgeon" to figure that out.
This is my last statement concerning Kindle and Quick for the moment.

Quick = Tebow
You decide whether that is good or bad yourself.
