Quick was OK. 12-21-1, 46 yds rushing. Does that keep him on the field or does Kindle come back?
Good job Quick but I say bring Kindle back. There were some obvious places where Kindle would have excelled in the passing game. Our receivers look like they will make some plays this year.

Hmmmm ..... still gotta give Quick another week to keep the job. He didn't play great tonight but he played good enough to help us earn one of the greatest regular season wins in school history.

I agree both need to get playing time , remember at the end of last season we were using a two QB rotation . Both have weak spots , we probably should use the best QB for the situation .

Kindle's weak spot is in his head. The same silliness we see off the field sometimes can find its way on the field. He has all of the tools to be a complete QB. Quick's weak spots are ball speed and experience. He has to get in the weight room and work on his throwing motion. Quick's strength is he has the heart of a winner.

Kindle is the leader of the team, put the ball in his hand. He who is without sin cast the first stone!

Well Blue Death friends...after my bone head prediction about App State beating us, I am going to keep my mouth shut about who should do what on this team. Obvious someone on the A&T coaching staff knows how to coach so I'll shut up and let them coach. Play who the heck you want to play...after tonight I trust their judgment. Go Aggies!

I love Quick's escapability and ability to handle the pressure of the environment. However, his arm leaves a lot of room for improvement past 20 yds downfield. He doesn't have the biggest hands, so I'm sure the coaches will work with him on improving his use of his left hand to pre-position the ball to be able to throw the ball downfield faster. They'll continue to work on his footwork in other for him to get more zip on his throws. He held the ball a little too long on some of the read-plays and on a few of them dragged the RB into the flow of the defense, so they'll work on that, too.
I believe Quick is a more complete leader based on his conduct starting from last year and up to this point and the end result of his work. That can't be taught.
It's not about how pretty it looks... it's about winning. Quick led us to a BIG win last night ON THE ROAD.
To me, Quick has earned the job until he loses it. That said, I fully trust the coaching staff to make the right choice based on all the info they have (and we don't).

MB hit it on the head. I'm not sure if Quicks performance was totally all his. Good and bad. I think we have a bonafied OC who can call the game according to the players strengths. The coach didnt push Quick into making bad decisions. he played to Quicks skills and continuously reminded him to protect the ball. I would not be surprised to see a starter and someone coming off the bench periodically.

I was NOT at the game, but I believe that QUICK has earned the starting job and should remain the starter. IT AIN'T BROKE, guys!! In fact, IT'S NEVER RUN BETTER!!

I'm in the Quick camp also. Dude has earned it and we need to keep building for the future. But I fully expect to see LK run on the field with the starting offense next week.
