That's messed up. Has he said why...or committed to some other program yet?

the tweet says that the reid decommit information came from his high school coach. let's just hope it's not true. but when ya broadcast that kind of news to the entire world, it most likely has some validity to it...

A lot of times, athletes will decommit after getting a bug in their ear that xxxx would definitely offer if………
Other times, their heart truly isn’t with the school and they let peer pressure influence their decision.
I can’t fault him for changing his mind. I just wish the athlete was sure about a school before they make a commitment. Cy may have passed over a few point guards because he thought that Reed was coming here.
Oh well, on the bright side we have one more open scholly.
Good luck to you Mr Reed.

I dont blame any kid with options. He has worked hard and he deserves the right to choose who will make money off of him for the next 2 to 4 years.
We will get what we need in due time. Also there have been plenty of folks fooled by grass that looked greener.

How many times do I have to say "Told you so" on this board. So much for having to many scholarships. Problem solved

How many times do I have to say "Told you so" on this board. So much for having to many scholarships. Problem solved Good call on Reid.... whatever else happens with recruiting happens. For some reason, I'm not too worried about it. If we pick up another PG this recruiting season, great. If not, that's fine, too. I still feel like Jeremy Underwood is going to accept the challenge from Coach Alexander to focus on ball-handling, lateral quickness and court awareness in addition to the classroom this off-season to start at the 1 for us next year, regardless of who comes in. I saw him all season, and I believe he has it in him to make the improvements with 6 months of hard work. I'm hoping Stewart is inspired to do the same level of work to be the backup. NCCU or Norfolk will still probably be the MEAC favorite for 2013-14. I do feel that we will be a much more physically/mentally tougher team will a higher ceiling next year, with or without Reid.

I thought he signed in November? If he signed he cannot de-commit. He has to be released by us. Correct me on this.

No, verbally committed like in December. So he's not contractually obligated.

Even if he is Committed, Just let the Kid go. We don't need any one that dose not want to be a True AGGIE B-Ball player are any sports player at A&T. We can and will do better !!!

If his heart isn't here, he's just an empty shell.
Best of success Mr. Reed.
