He had 17 point and 9 rebounds in the 2A championship game. We also need to be on his brother for next year.

Keyes brothers lift Kinston to title Angelo Keyes- ;D, who was named Kinston's Most Outstanding Player, went 9-of-10 from the free throw line, finishing with 17 points and nine rebounds. His brother, Denzel Keyes, was named the Charlie Adams Most Valuable Player of the game with 15 points and nine rebounds. www.highschoolot.com/content/story/10839951/

I just saw a replay of the state championship game and it was a treat to watch Mr. Keyes. I'm still scratching my head on how he wasn't the mvp? Imo, they beat a better team because down the stretch he put the team on his back with rebounding and free throw shooting. You can telll this kid loves physical contact! It's gonna be a treat watching him on the football field.

Broadway literally stole him from under ECU and NCSU noses. He's going to be a big time MLB.

Hendersonville's Hill makes college choicepreps.blueridgenow.com/news/article/34853/hendersonvilles-hill-makes-college-choice/Mon. May 14, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. | By Dean Hensley Hendersonville senior running back/outside linebacker Cam Hill felt right at home Saturday at the 1-A track and field state championship meet. He was competing on the North Carolina A&T University track for the Bearcats, but in the fall, he'll be suiting up on the football field for the Aggies. Hill has committed to North Carolina A&T and will be signing with the college later this week at Hendersonville High School, according to Bearcat coach B.J. Laughter. Hill, a 2011 Times-News All-Area selection, will be joining his teammate, A.J. McMinn, who committed to N.C. A&T earlier this year. Hill, a three-year starter for Laughter, had 147 rushes for 1,223 yards and 13 touchdowns at running back. He was also a force on defense at outside linebacker with four sacks, two interceptions and 38 tackles. "N.C. A&T was really impressed with the way Cam closes in on the ball on defense. He's also one of my best man-on-man cover guys, and N.C. A&T is signing him as a cornerback," Laughter said. Other schools that showed strong interest in the 5-10, 195-pound senior were Mars Hill and Winston-Salem State. "He is a lot like Archie Cook, his uncle. He was a great player who also went on to have a very successful career," Laughter said. "I'm so happy for Cam. He's a great kid, and he was voted our Most Valuable Player last year. It's always good to see good things happen to good kids." At Saturday's track state championships at what will be his new school, Hill finished ninth in the 200-meter dash and also ran anchor on the 4X200 relay team that finished eighth.
