I pay for us to compete at the national level.....not for us to see if we are better off playing against the SWAC. I will not attend or support the Legacy Bowl!

This is the time of year I would see family in LA, Houston or Boston and spending on a new years trip to DC or NY. Even it A&T made it to this game, unless both teams are playing for undefeated seasons and we had a chance for a national title, It would be hard for me to spend my money on an additional trip to ATL.
But i'd turn my TV to it if i wasn't doing anything at that time.

I would go! Bottom line is I LOVE A&T and if we are in the bowl game or playoffs..A&T in it, I'm there!!! DEAR OLE' A&T.....
If the bowl game happens (which i hope it doesn't) it will not last more than 3 yrs and that would set us back trying to advance in the playoffs....!

Another PAPER CHAMP TITLE. Playoff's or BUst. Its a shame that the SWAC makes all the major moves in this matter. The MEAC work so hard to get a bid in the playoffs and now just to give it away for peanuts. The payoff is nothing in real money once you split it up between schools. Lets just send the second place team to this SWAC Mess and keep our Playoff Bid because once its gone its gone.

If the inevitable happens I'm going to have a lot of free Saturdays and more money in my pocket. I'm not going to support this with my money ($2,500 annually) or my time.

Regardless of any decision, when our athletes hit the field, I'm in the stands.

if this is the final year that the meac will participate in the playoffs, it'll be my last year as an aggie club member. i will not donate my hard earned dollars in order promote an "hbcu only" football program.
and i have no interest in going to a legacy bowl game against the swac. i'd rather lose in the playoffs than win in a meaningless legacy bowl...

I would go to see us play Grambling or Southern for the novelty of it. I don't support the LB wholeheartedly but I'm an Aggie. I would treat it like any other Classic and have a good time. I ain't gon lie, I love beating up on the SWAC. If the winner got $250,000, I'd actually be for it.

The question- Is there anything to gain from playing in Legacy Bowl? It probably would not matter if A&T played a couple D-I A teams every year. Anyway, I'd vote for the playoffs (FCS). The ultimate goal is to compete against the best the FCS has to offer- and the Legacy Bowl, to me, doesn't represent the best. Playing in the Legacy Bowl would be a set back, jmho.

Then the question is mute if A&T wins it all.

Its just Way too close to the holidays for me plus the countless times i already visit Atlanta in a given year...
I think with all the speculation about this Bowl and the countless threads on the message boards that i visit, I'm really starting to become indifferent to this thing...maybe that's Thomas' plan...let us all wear ourselves out getting mad over it then do what he's gonna do anyways with the blessings of our presidents and chancellors in the MEAC...
Can September just get here already so i can enjoy some A&T Football, our champion cheerleaders, our wonderful band, and some great tailgating??? Geeze!
