Definitely will hurt them. I know that the kids that just got there are probably very disappointed.

Has anyone seen the Men? Is practice open or is it a closed door? I want to hear about the team, and of course the New Guys.
I just remember the casual brothers from the DMV, they always thought that they could ball. I want to see/hear about the new guys. One thing about M Hill, He could push the ball like mugsy Bowles at times.
I just think that we will be better. Maybe the coaching will play a huge part as many people say, but I just remember us frustrating NSU and the Brother from Rocky Mt. in Corbett early last year.
This team received good looks from the offense. As it was stated before elsewhere, turnovers & Free Throws kept us struggling at times.

"Ex-Oregon State women’s basketball player Alex Mitchell has transferred to North Carolina A&T, a MEAC school in Greensboro. She must sit out a year under NCAA rules and will have two seasons of eligibility remainig, starting in 2010-11."

It sounds like Coach Bibbs is our new Bill Hayes, Coach Hayes is very good at convincing Div1A- players to step down a level for more opportunity or playing time.

Damn, I just got goose bumps watching this highlight video. I guess Coach Bibbs does know a thing or two about recruiting.

wow! the video confirmed my suspicions about her. she's got long arms which allows her to get in the passing lanes for steals, that explains the 3.6 steals per game. and she's an aggressive rebounder, she attacks the boards. that explains her 9.2 rebounds per game.
having seen the video, i can now believe she was actually recruited by baylor and florida state. her 13 points per game don't jump out at you, but those 9.2 rebounds and 3.6 steals certainly does. this is a very valuable player. she also appears to be an aggressive defender, i expect to see this young lady up front on coach bibbs' press. this is the kind of player that you win championships with because she's multi-dimensional and she defends.
great, great, pickup! wow! with the size we have coming back next year, she'll probably play primarily at the 2 position but also the 3 position. can you imagine having a 5'11" shooting guard playing for us who averaged 9 rebounds per game in high school? awesome baby!
think about it. a 5'11" shooting guard with a 6'4" center, a 6'2" power forward, and a 6'0" small forward. folks, this team is being built to compete with the big time programs! with that kind of size, we should be able to hold our own against just about any "major d1" program! currently, we don't have any players under 5'8" listed on our entire roster. that's very unusual for an hbcu team.
man, losing ab and btj to graduation took a wee bit of air out of my balloon because they seemed so irreplaceable. but seeing what we've got this year and what we'll have next year, now my balloon is about to over inflate! wow! its gonna be a lot of fun watching this team for several years to come...

Wow! She has the total package. Her ball handling skills are exceptional and she looked taller than 5-10 to me. Looks like the next Amber Bland to me.
