Thriller:
Jim & Elaine McLeod are sending $300.00 to the address you indicated for the "Lady Aggies Basketball Fund" ....... I have a few friends who will be responding shortly.
Keep up the good work, buddy!

That's good stuff. Make a donation ... and then tell a friend to match you.
That is how we can reach this goal.
Thanks.

Just got off the phone with Coach Bibbs. She called to say, "thank you". Such class, such sincerity. I didn't really expect the call eventhough I saw where some of you had received one and was truly humbled by it. I could only in turn thank her for her work at A&T. A great lady.
Let's get this thing done! Aggie Pride!

I just received a check in the mail from Bruce Foster in the amount of $150! He is a longtime member of the Aggie Club who wanted to join our fundraising efforts in this campaign. We're getting closer to our goal now. We still need your help: www.active.com/donate/beatdowns_unlimited

I still believe we can get some help from the younger posters on this site. One of you young guys should step up now and make a $25 donation. The only way we can change our culture of giving is to start with the younger generation: www.active.com/donate/beatdowns_unlimited

The hard part is convincing yourself to actually give anything. We have been conditioned for too long that it is not really necessary to give back to your alma mater and that somebody else will eventually take care of our needs for us. It really requires effort to break that mentality. But like your current president once said, "we are the people we have been waiting for." I am confident that the young members of this site are going to step up to the challenge and make a difference: www.active.com/donate/beatdowns_unlimited

Yo, I just doubled up my effort and submitted another $100. This program has kept the A&T name on many lips around the league. I still remember that we were within 3 or 5 pts against FSU in the dance. We had some shots that were in and out & Tweet, w/ Lamona had FSU shaking their heads. Thats a fact Brothers! So today I said to myself, "F##k it", I'll just hustle to get this $100 back.
BDF has shown that it can turn on a dime, and fill a nitch. I'm proud of all of the members.

BTW: This campaign is something the News & Record should run a story on.
Hint hint, Joe Killian.

"And this is just from a few committed brothers trying to do what is right by their alma mater." "These guys have set a true standard for how alumni can change the direction of black college athletics, and consequently, the profile of their universities." I BEG YOUR PARDON!
