Just to add something. The fastest guy I've ever seen in person always had a horrible 40 time. He said it was because he was never relaxed running for a time or coming out of a 'track' stance. They guy was blazing though. Seen him walk down the 2nd fastest guy in the 100m and 200m in the state from way behind.

Teamate and other Aggie signee dl Kreg Carter ran a 5.85 at the Durham Combine but ran a 5.22 at another combine. If the difference is similar for Byrd he could in fact be pretty fast.

scotthall and big boy, it's cool that none of our opponents had any other wr's in the top 30, but they did have some other players ranked pretty highly. Hampton had a qb ranked #2, BCC #9, and Elon #13. Both Morgan and SCSU had top 20 backs. Things could get pretty interesting!

But we need a QB badly. I just can't understand the lack of urgency to get one. That should be our number priority.
Hampton continue to reload when it come to QB constantly. And they get the best. This guy was one of the top rank QB in the STATE of Florida.

It's wide open at QB. It will be a totally different style of offense than what we've been used to for so many years. Whoever gets tha call will have to be an athlete with speed and adept at running and throwing the accurate medium range pass so most likely be someone the fans will be unfamiliar with.

Thanks....Seems like a player and more importantly a student first. I expect him to push the returnees for a starting position. It appears Fobbs is building a lot of depth and only hope he plays the best athletes. That will become the key to his first year at A&T.
