Do you think it would be a great promo. to have the 2 dance teams go head to head and sell the idea to ESPNU to show at halftime!!!
They could have them take turns dancing between timeouts at the womens game and at halftime of the womens game..... so maybe the women could get a big turn out for their game!!!
To take it one step farther..... Blue Reign & Golden Delite could challenge area dance teams to come to Corbett and battle during the game!!!
JUST A THOUGHT!!!

That's a good idea man
(but you would hate to have some local dance group come into your house and embarass you)

Nah, this needs to be Blue Reign vs. Golden Delight, head-to-head at center court.
To determine a winner, you would have the crowd cheer for who they thought was best, Apollo-style.
This would be like a HBCU version of West Side Story.

AggieMike & Thrilla: How do we make this thing happen?? MIKE can you use the Register to sell wolf-tickets..... what are all the channels you have to go through and who is the person who can make this happen??? And is this something that can happen this yr. Or something that could be a definite for next yr. Thrilla... you're right the first 2 or 3 challenges should be between Blue Reign & Golden Delite because everyone deserves a rematch. But after that there are enough schools within a 50-60mi radius to invite..... a little something extra for the fans!!! It will also cause the 2 dance groups to step up their game and "come wittit"!!!!

Keith McCluney is in charge of game operations. Give him a call at 334-7310 and tell him we want to see a dance off.
The next TV game is Feb. 12, so that should give both Blue Reign and Golden Delight enough time put a couple of routines together.
As far as promoting this event, I would be willing to post a story about it on the front page of this site. Aggie Mike is the sports page editior of the Register so I am sure he could do the same. We could also put up those cheap little flyers all around campus and maybe have Brain Hollway send out a press release to the media.
This thing is not impossible. Actually, if you can get the two teams to agree to battle, it would be rather easy to pull off.

This is something that should happen.... I mean it's not just about a dance off between Blue Reign & Golden Delight.... it's about making halftime an event!! Just like you have people who only go to football games to see what the bands are going to do..... you try to bring in that crowd to b'ball games. It's like a game within a game.... where you create the atmosphere..... so people want to know what Blue Reign is doing.... who their halftime guest is going to be...etc....etc.... You have to pump it up.... radio promo.... the works!!! A game within a game!!! Just a thought to try and get the attendance in the 5000-6000 range..... and try to get the attendance for the ladies in the 1000-3000 range!!!!
At the MESU game Sat. the attendance was 1849 for the ladies game!!!!

It could be tastefully done. LOL!
Its not like we're advocating having them have a dance-off inside a huge tub of baby oil. We're just asking them to do what they always do: dance in front of a crowd.
Honestly, what's so wrong with that?

As long as some of those girls in "Blue Reign" cover up their "love handles". I mean, some of them have more handles than I do.
