Who has the better dance team..... Golden Delite or Blue Reign??? This would be a boxing promoter's dream..... the 2 dance teams could alternate between full time outs with the main battle performed at half time of a TV game!! If not this year..... next.... Don King where are you when we need you!!!!
What do you think BDV!!!

I'm a big dude so I can't really talk about a girl being big but Blue Reign, seriously, work on the abs or get new outfits, a friend of mine and I were laughing at the disgust on some peoples faces when they performed at halftime the other day, not that they don't do a good job they just dont have the same physical features as cheerleaders and they aren't always instep so the sum it up, do something about the belly, I'm cool with a little bit but one girl looked like she was going from her first trimester into the second. I would go Golden Delite anyday in this battle. Blue Reign is just so-so.

Blue Reign sucked last night. Their best dancer was the male choreographer who came out on court with them. I was sitting with Big Boy last night and he said they perform the same damn routine every single game.
At least Golden Delite changes it up a bit and keeps you guessing. That african dance routine they did at the Elon game was straight fire.

and the sad part is they practice all night long on that same 90 second joint in the fitness and wellness center, one day they should put the routine on hold and hit the gym

Why can't Golden Delight just do football AND basketbal?

Golden Delight isn't great either, its kinda the lesser of two evils, they all come off to me as cheerleading hating girls. Don't ask one of em do they cheer..."NO I DON'T CHEER! I DANCE!" and I'm like OK...same thing.

The bball dancers - now Blue Reign, formerly Aggie Essence - have not been good ever! I think if it were a booty shake / club dancing contest , Blue Reign wins hands down. Choreographed routinies (with all the flags and batons), I'd have to give to Golden Delight.

Now I do remember when GD wasn't so great, but over time they've improved by leaps and bounds.

You wont ever hear GD yell "Let's make some noise....OVER HERE!!" in unison, and you will never see the cheerleaders throwing flaming batons in the air while doing pirouettes and shakin it fast on the field to band music!

but saying something simple, like "yea you cheer right?" to them is like calling their moms out of their name, when at the end of the day, nobody pays any that much attention. I love the cheerleaders as people and when they do the HEY! HEY! cheer but other than that, I don't really pay much attention to them, especially at football games, Golden Delight is cool, but compared to Howard's girls. No contest. Blue Reign is expendable but we do have a West Charlotte girl on there so I can't right them off completely...
When did we have flaming batons? I must have been in the restroom when that happend

GD has twirled fire on numerous occassions. I can remember a few halftimes when Dr. Hodge was leading the bad as well as the Charlotte Battle of the Bands 2 years ago.

You have to realize that they are artists, in their own way.
Imagine going up to a musician after a concert and saying "that was some good country music yall was playing", and they say "no, that was jazz", and you say "Same thing. Wasnt nobody listening anyway". That musician would probably look at you sideways, just like those dancers probably did.
You cant insult someone's artform and not expect them to get offended! LOL ;D

Yea, I would be the one to say "Oh that's not country music? I thought I heard a banjo in there somewhere..." just kiddin'. a$$ shakin is a$$ shakin to me...but I definitely get your point (great analogy by the way)
