CAA is paying off!!! Why do you assume the CAA has anything to do with us scheduling this game? We have already hosted ACC & SEC teams in Corbett before when we were members of the MEAC. |

CAA is paying off!!! Why do you assume the CAA has anything to do with us scheduling this game? We have already hosted ACC & SEC teams in Corbett before when we were members of the MEAC. when has UNC ever travelled to A&T? In any sport? Being in CAA is why we hosted a NIT game...Our RPI is higher after our success in CAA basketball. |

The Lady Aggies have played Clemson (ACC) and Auburn (SEC) in Corbett in previous years. This is just another home game against an ACC school.
The precedent of us hosting a Power 5 school in our gym during the regular season has already been set. We didn't have to be in the CAA to make that happen.

The Lady Aggies have played Clemson (ACC) and Auburn (SEC) in Corbett in previous years. This is just another home game against an ACC school. We didn't have to be in the CAA to make that happen. those schools are not UNC...major difference. When has A&T hosted UNC in any sport? |

To settle this, someone needs to ask Coach Rob how this home game came to be. I think it's more because of the neutral site game in the Coliseum that created the opening for this to occur than our Conference affiliation.

It will be interesting to see the rest of the OOC schedule...
I'm hoping it is tough but gives Coach Rob some opportunities to better understand players/rotations in game time situations...

GREENSBORO – After advancing to the Round of 16 at the 2024 Women's National Invitational Tournament (WNIT) last season, the fun begins again for the North Carolina A&T women's basketball program when they open the season in Dallas, Texas, on Monday, November 4 at Southern Methodist University (SMU). North Carolina A&T head women's basketball coach Tarrell Robinson, who is entering his 13thseason at the helm, announced the Aggies' non-conference schedule on Thursday. It includes two ACC schools, including one of the conference's newest members, the SMU Mustangs. A&T also has three HBCUs on the non-conference slate and a holiday tournament in Fort Myers, Fla., the hometown of incumbent starting center Chaniya Clark. "Tradition is a work that comes to mind when I'm asked to talk about our non-conference schedule," said Robinson. In my opinion, this is one of the best schedules we've had in some time. It's challenging, and every game before conference play, we are playing for something. Whether it be bragging rights or respect, each game prepares us for a very exciting year."
