Congrats to Coach. StoneyBrook slipped by us last season and He made a nice WNIT run. If Corbett really shapes up, and the Bench players become a hungry Wave of players taking it to teams like Former Player Acox, while given the Starters a rest, then we will take the Title.

I believe that extension is too long. I love this site! Just when you start to believe we have a consensus on a subject, up pops a dissenting vote. I love it. Personally, I think Coach Rob had done a good job as head coach... but more important, he's becoming a better coach every season. Every year he comes back and implements a plan to correct the challenges he faced in the previous season. I think that's the true sign of a great coach... can they quickly adapt to challenges! A lot of coaches don't have the skills to change (Jones), and some are too stubborn to change (Hayes). |

Personally, I think Coach Rob had done a good job as head coach... but more important, he's becoming a better coach every season. Every year he comes back and implements a plan to correct the challenges he faced in the previous season. I think that's the true sign of a great coach... can they quickly adapt to challenges! A lot of coaches don't have the skills to change (Jones), and some are too stubborn to change (Hayes). That's a good point. Definitely think he improved his sideline demeanor and body language over the years. I believe it has impacted the way his team responds to adversity on the court. |

Be glad when he recruits some dynamite guards like Coach Bibbs did. Be glad when he can get multiple bona fide knock down 3 point shooters. His teams always lack these 2 areas to me. Also he needs to get some fast, quick guards and some big people who can make a put back and lay ups.
Other than this he is a fair coach.

Here we go.smh He recruited a good bit of those guards that was on Coach Bibbs teams. He was the one coming in off of a road trip getting straight in the car to drive to high school games. Tuwanna Cook, Amber Calvin, BTJ as well.. Now do we need Assistants like him? Absolutely! |

He is much better than a fair coach in my opinion. Now great coach, that is a different discussion depending on who you are comparing his coaching career against (MEAC, HBCU, small D1 schools, all D1 schools, etc.) |
