I think you should explain what specific concerns you would have with A&T hiring a white chancellor, or just a non-back chancellor for that matter.

The entire social and and educational structure of America, is to suppress or limit the progress of black people.

The state of North Carolina owns North Carolina A&T State University. The UNC Board of Governors has a heavy influence on the Chancellor selection process. 13 member search committee Pearl Burris-Floyd, secretary of the UNC Board of Governors Michael S. Fox, President and CEO of the Piedmont Triad Partnership Peter Hans, president of the UNC System Randy Ramsey, chair of the UNC Board of Governors Randy Woodson, chancellor of NC State University www.ncat.edu/news/2023/10/search-advisory.phpThe search committee makes a recommendation to the NC A&T Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees makes a recommendation to Peter Hans, who made the recommendation to them Then Peter Hans selects the Chancellor You have to understand the process.

He who controls the purse decides when and how much you eat. We are governed by black gatekeepers, who are told where to lead the slaves. That statement may have a strong insight into why most HBCU's are struggling, some on the brink of failure. Its difficult for me to process, the above statement as facts, with the success that Chancellor Martin has. It says to me that we are not owners we are on another plantation. I can't repent but I'm reminded that there were black slavers.

It’s 2024 and this isn’t a movie. No offense intended at all but imo basing our desire for chancellor of our alma mater on a fictional place in a movie or the institution of slavery that legally ended in this country prior to the founding of our alma mater is outside the boundaries of good thought process.
Personally, I’m just self-aware enough to know I wouldn’t be comfortable with a white chancellor for my own reasons unless he was an alum, and I’ll admit as such.

I would rather have a progressive person who fully understands A&T's history, current standing, and a vision that is as transformative as Chancellor Fort's and Chancellor Martin's, and be white than have a Black Person who is a true plant for Peter Hans and has no vision, can't effectively lead, and ends up costing us our R1 status and research money that comes with that.
Also, I want them to care about Athletics and see that 100 million-dollar athletics capital campaign through.
I've seen white people give Black people grace and care, and I've seen Black people sell other blacks out.
But, with that being said, I want that transformative vision, grace, and ability to fundraise in a Black package, man or woman.

Mental, Social, and Political slavery has not ended, there is nothing equal in America. I'm sorry that you got stuck on the metaphor(Wakanda). We can't get money legally owed to us from the state. Billions of dollars which I would happily, put under the management of DR Martin. Understand who and what we are loosing. The man pushed boundaries, broke barriers guided A&T to a level that most non private HBCU's can imagine, he has caused other chancellors (Virginia Union) who are bold enough and smart enough to push their barriers and boundaries. I'm sure when you were in school you often heard shoot for the moon, if you fall short, at least yoiu will be amongst the stars( following your thinking).

But did Dr. Martin’s race matter in all that?

Show me an example of a Caucasian leader who has pushed a instittuion of black and brown people beyond traditional barriers and restrictions. Thinking from the perception that black is not a color but an experience, there is not one Caucasian I can name that has the black experience and is willing to die for the freeing of black and brown minds. Thinking from your position, why would he, and for what purpose? From our current news and social headlines, women of color are breaking barriers and sitting in areas never before by a person of color. In the last 3 years, they have greatly come under attack. The conservative institutions of power are reminding them they are figureheads not meant to be taken seriously. They've married powerful Caucasian men, moved into their communities, and given them babies. Most have not reached back to elevate their communities, and if they did, they are reminded that they are not to encourage a mass change of thought or position. The history lesson of the Cleopatra story is understudied. She assumed her black power, could sway the caucasian thought processes of Rome, marrying and giving babies to them, thinking that her position could move her agenda in caucasian society. The results had her and her powerful caucasian husbands, lovers murdered along with her, and the babies raised with caucasian thought processes.

That is a great example, but a different conversation. I can accept a Caucasian Head Coach. Caucasians win tremendously when elevating athletics look at the NIL money under those Coaches some are not winning. The leagues are perfect examples: black athletes, millionaires, championships, marrying women of other cultures—there is only one Lebron James. he has the receipts. JR spoke to this in a podcast, with all the black millionaire athletes(With Caucasian owners and coaches) they don't own their practice facilities. They don't elevate their communities.

I'm not thinking or speaking from a position of racism, I know caucasians, Jewish people who will, back me in a fight upto a point. Like my cabletow brothers we are taught to stand with our brother to the degree that it doesn't harm you are your family, the opt-out button is there.

PWIs should not hire black presidents or chancellors either.

PWIs should not hire black presidents or chancellors either. Any reasoning for this personal belief, or are you just trolling again?
