We can't afford to have any of our tallest players getting injured before the start of the season because we lack the depth in height compared to last year's roster. Also, no players under 6 feet. I know what you meant. Who knows we may end up being taller since coach has several more scholarships available. |

We can't afford to have any of our tallest players getting injured before the start of the season because we lack the depth in height compared to last year's roster. Also, no players under 6 feet. If you want to do apples to apples comparison, then look at the same point in time of last year's team. Now neither teams have players injured and you don't get into the weeds of playing time, because we have no idea of how much playing time each player from the 2023-24 team will receive or whether anyone will suffer an injury before the season opening. Without computing the team average height of both teams you maybe correct in your comment if we ignore last year's injured players height. |

No word on Jaylen Jackson rejoining the team I will speculate that Jackson probably will have to walk onto the team if he enrolled at A&T again and that Coach Ross would hold off making a decision on him until after he had signed all his players to assess his remaining needs. Coach Ross may not accept players back that left A&T without a good reason. I don't know Jackson's reason for leaving and coach is the only one that will decide if his reason was justified. Does he even fit Coach Ross's style of play or system? |

Perhaps Ross has a preference for small ball? Or he can't find the Bigs or sign the ones that he sees or feels that are a good fit. Look there is only to options here 1. You get the best or the best that are available that fit your vision for the team . 2. Or You just settle for what's available . I hope it's not #2 In my opinion, we have no idea what style of ball Coach Ross is going to play . But it's going to be interesting to watch and see 👀 |

Harry Morrice is still listed on A&T's Bastketball Roster, has he left the team?... Saabman reported that he spoke to Harry's father and he said that Harry was not returning to the basketball team. Harry has already signed with an NAIA program. Didn't get the name of the program but asked for it in my reply. This is what his father said "His coach only wants him for 1 season so he can play D1 for his final year. He moves in 3 weeks and I find it strange the coach Ross didn’t want him when he has recruited such a small team. Time will tell, but I think it may be a struggle in the CAA this season. I will check in now and again, but good luck to you for the coming season" |

With not inviting Harry back it appears he is intentional in his recruiting strategy. I'm guessing but it seems to me he is not recruiting based on traditional positions? So far it looks like he's recruiting based on a certain profile.....athletic, 6'2 to 6'7 range on average with potential to be good defenders. I'm hoping good ball handlers and 3 pt shooting are included! Looks like positions 1 thru 3 and 3 thru 5 could be interchangeable? |
