Not sure if Robinson and Brooks will return. I believe Coach Ross has 2 to 3 more scholarships to offer. We are young, thin (reference to weight), and lack depth at the Big position while playing in a physical conference based on last year competition.

Ahmad & Justin were walk-ons coming into the program for what that’s worth, I would assume they still are present day but that could’ve changed

We are listing ten (10) guards at the moment…TEN! 😳😳 If they’re 6’5 and over, aren’t the best facilitators, and can defend players bigger than them, they needed to be moved over to the wing (3 spot) |

Well we all are speculating that his remaining scholarships will go to forwards and centers. I personally would like for him to sign a talented Big at or near 7ft. Also, I wish he could sign a talented 6'7" or 6'8" player with bulk that can do damage offensively inside and on the perimeter as well as athletically defend a wing or a post player.
Just my preference, but Coach Ross knows best as to what he needs to fit his system. Let's see how he decides to fill those voids.

Ahmad & Justin were walk-ons coming into the program for what that’s worth, I would assume they still are present day but that could’ve changed I was aware of their walk-on status, but what made me question whether Justin is still part of the team is that he is no longer listed on the 2023-24 A&T basketball roster website. My main concern is the lack of size weight and length at the Forwards and Center position. 180 lb forward it's not going to cut it in a league that have guards bigger than they are. Bottom line we are in desperate need of big men height length and size. There's still a number of them in the portal we just need to get them. |

Coach Ross still has lots of offers out there and I will assume a lot of them are targeting Bigs. This late homerun stretch is extremely stressful on the coaches because how good of a recruiting season they have rest in the hands of high schoolers and transfers. If we leave out the walk-on guards, we don't have a lot of experience or maturity (no Junior or Senior) at the PG position. Has coach hired all of his staff? Is it based on video, saw some play in person, or from some other source? Just curious. It would be nice to know that we have some scrappy ball players that fight to the end. |

Is it based on video, saw some play in person, or from some other source? Just curious. It would be nice to know that we have some scrappy ball players that fight to the end. for me, based on a combination of various sources such as stats, their bio, their "honors", and their videos. there's a plethora of information and videos on the guys coach ross has signed under the "recruiting" thread. so you can easily dig up the info to make your own judgement. but i remember for sure that the d2 transfer post player coach ross signed is a "defensive minded" big but he ain't the only one that likes playing defense... |

We now need an update on whether Robinson will be returning. This is more important because he is on scholarship while Justin was not. If he is not returning (Coach Ross probably already knows the answer), then this informs "us" that Coach Ross has an additional scholarship he is working with to bring in another talented player that fits his system.
One thing for sure, Coach Ross will never be able to argue that the team is not winning because he did not have the opportunity to recruit his own players. I personally will cut him some slack on this year's recruiting class because I feel he may have been able to do even a better job with a full recruiting season.

I was hoping that Coach Ross would use his connections in his home area of Philly to bring in a couple of players. Maybe that will come later.
