Yup, As expected crickets, but I'm pretty sure if we have a slip up against anybody, they will be barking again.
It's all good, in the mean time, thought we would at least have had some people complain about sideline demeanor or fashion in which we are winning games. What other coaching decisions should be made, but uh none of that huh, OK cool. Not saying anything right now, let's keep the same energy, if there is a slip up.
Thanks

Did not say he couldn't coach, said he was not incredible. If he was really incredible he would be at Iowa, USC, Carolina or in the WNBA.
Anybody can coach, but the difference is are they incredible or average.

Under that argument, where does Broadway fall, I guess he's "mediocre" as well. Asking for a friend. I'm not saying that T-Rob is incredible but he's a darn good coach. I guess question is what would be his max status if he remains at T?

It's no small feat for any coach to go from the MEAC to the Big South to the CAA in a matter of years and do what he's doing. He deserves our respect. FYI....y'all remember that coach named David Six, who was on top of things and had things rolling at MEAC Hampton. Take a look at the CAA standings and see where he is now I'm not talking one man down to exalt another.....transitioning/adjusting to different conferences ain't easy. TRob has done this better than I personally expected he would. He deserves no backhanded compliments for the job he's been able to do...

Six never played college ball and has never coached outside the MEAC until HU transition to BSC and CAA. After leaving A&T for VCU, Robinson continued to excel as a recruiter. After serving as the program's recruiting coordinator, he was promoted to associate head coach in May 2011 at VCU. He helped the Rams make three-consecutive postseason appearances from 2009-12. The Rams also made it to the third round of the WNIT in 2010 and 2012. He helped land back-to-back classes that ranked among the best in the CAA, including players who ranked among the Top 30 in their respective positions.

If you look at his track record, he's damn good! Sure, he's had a few "average" season but he always rebounds the following season. Let's face it, he's A&T's bright coaching star today. Other programs have been like a Carowinds rollercoaster.... slow accelerations to the top followed my heart stopping dives to the bottom. Coach Rob may give you one season with a slight drop but the next season he will be back heading up.

I witnessed Coach Cal Irvin, Coach Don Corbett, Coach Bill Hayes and Coach Ross who left for a P5 school. Look Coach Robinson is ok but 5 people on this site out of thousands are not really honest of his coaching skills. Yes, if he was really incredible you bet your azz that he would be hounded by P5 schools and he would jump at the opportunity. He is average at best. And yes you can be an incredible coach at T.

Incredible as in “extraordinary” ( 3rd definition). Let me clarify it.
Among A&T Coaches. He has done a extraordinary job. Considering, Conf. Changes, Players coming and going, the resources, Graduation rates and on top of that flat out winning games. And for how many years? Incredible. He has not been “down “ wherever. And if Jazz hadn’t went down just before the tournament, He would’ve been right there again.
Baseball, Track, Football, Tennis and yes Bowling( with it’s Titles), He has consistently produced over x amount of years.
Now, if he needs a breakthrough like Cheney with Vivian Stringer, or even win in the tournament, that’s fair.
But A&T has been a Top Program consistently. And to me, a Player or two away.

To me, Coach T-Rob is a model of consistency which I believe A&T needs in the current landscape of college athletics. It would be nice to get a coach that catches lightning in a bottle and go on a tournament run. But then, what happens next...they head for greener pastures by getting a higher paying job somewhere else which would leave our program under duress to replace him/her. So, I like the consistency he's (T-Rob) established within the program, it just works better at this point.
