lawd, this is "comical". a&t went all of these "decades" not caring one iota about tennis, so why care now? what about hilton's previous hires? don't they count too? omg, how 'bout caring about a&t's top 2 "revenue producing" sports. omg... Hilton took over in 2011 His previous hires yielded 4 Celebration Bowl and 5 Conference Championships in football. 5 conference championships in 13 years isn't bad. 1 Championship in men's basketball. 3 women's basketball championships during his tenure too. His record is better than you give him credit for.

Speaking of tennis, does anybody know why they’re still at Dudley & not playing on the campus court off of E. Market?

The other coaches that, I believe, have been replaced are: - Football (Brown) - Men's Basketball (Ross) - Softball (Gonzales) - Tennis (Bivens) - Golf (Clark) We haven't seen anything from the Softball coach yet. Are you saying you've already made determinations from one season of football and partial seasons of Men's Basketball, Tennis & Golf already? nope, that's not what i'm saying. i'm saying exactly what i said, i don't trust hilton's hiring ability of a new head coach... I guess that's what you said. But ok.

I thought Tennis (M/W) had their best season in years last season with Bivens. The courts on campus have cracks. Apparently, there were greater problems (unrealized) when the first repair was made.

Cause he is average and not incredible. Why though? Look he won a few MEAC Championships and he blew a couple also up in Norfolk. I don't know his exact record against PWI teams but I don't think it is great. He also has lost to teams that he should have beaten on numerous occasions. I don't like his guard play and the Bigs can't make a lay up or put back on a consistent basis. His overall record is based mainly on longevity and sub par teams in the MEAC. He has a history of getting rid of good players mysteriously that are never heard of again. He is a good guy but if I was an AD I would not hire him because he is an average coach who is not incredible.

I don't disagree with your critique, but over the course of the last few years I have come to admire his patience as he watch all those missed layups and unforced turnovers. He has had his teams competitive since he's been here and very few D1 WBB coaches has enjoyed such success outside of few P5's. I know Six has had some success up until the last few years. So while I would not call coach Rob incredible,I would call him a good team coach. You don't get longevity without winning.

For what he is paid relative to his production, Coach is a fantastic ROI. If he wins the CAA he is most likely gone to a better opportunity. Someone will take a chance on a proven coach.
