Let's not disrespect the teams in our conference as fans. That allows for unrealistic expectations to take root. The top teams in the CAA are vying for a 12-Seed and perhaps an at-large bid. We can't say that about the Big South or MEAC honestly. And to say otherwise is flat-out ignorance of the computer rankings and human polls. Not disrespecting any team or the conference just stating FACT. When this team Embraces the team concept they are more than competitive but it is when they play isolation Rec ball they come up wanting. The CAA is not the ACC. A lot of people on here was saying the same things about how great the Big S***it was until they saw it wasn't. The only significant win by any team in this conference was Charleston's win over Virginia Tech outside of that the schedule shows me that a 12 seat may be too high if they receive one in the dance . Ignorance is not looking at the facts and doing your own research but taking someone else's opinion as fact . It would help to stop reading in to a person's statement and actually read the statement. Because this conference is not the ACC so stop trying to act like it is . Umm... You're the one saying the conference isn't that great. That's not reading into your statement. You wrote this multiple times on this thread. You are letting your dislike of the coaching and system allow you to disregard the coaching and players of the conference we're playing in. You also disregarded Towson's victory on the road against a 7-1 UMASS squad out of the A-10. Both C of C and Towson, if they win the vast majority of their games from here on out, could garner a 12-seed. But you're entitled to your opinion. You feel how you feel about the team and coaching. It is what it is.

" if this team Embraces team ball A&T can be successful in the CAA " and we don't know which team will show up "Rec ball or Team ball " " the jury is still out on our interim HC it's not an indictment of me disliking him it's just a fact . If this was the ACC I would totally agree with a lot of the statements about our ability to win but this is not the ACC , its the CAA. Just another Mid Major, so there is no excuse or reason that A&T should be taken lightly in this Conference as long as they play good disciplined team ball . That is fact/facts nothing more or less.

“Rec ball or team ball”. I like that characterization of our future plight.

“Rec ball or team ball”. I like that characterization of our future plight. It is a perfect definition of the 2 teams. As much as I would like to see my son play, watching the UNCG game was a pleasure as the TEAM played defence that lead to offence. More of this and less of 3 ball will lead to a successful season. If you can force a turnover outside of the arc , then lack of height in the paint is negated. Coach needs to be applauded for his tactics.
